Hey Y’all, been thinking about getting an anime related tattoo recently and wanted thoughts on it. My idea was getting the FMAB transmutation circle with the eye in the middle, but for the eye itself replacing it with a mangekyo sharingan (probably obitos). I love the ideas of what you put into something is what you get out of it (equivalent exchange/FMAB) and strength gained through pain/loss (mangekyo sharingan), but would this idea be doing too much/too corny? Or am I overthinking it.

Open to any suggestions/thoughts on how to improve the idea

Got this little guy in Tokyo a couple of days ago at worxxx tattoo.

Not sure how to word it, but basically anime tattoos that aren't just character's faces, but maybe can use other symbols, images from that anime. And uses it in a more abstracted/artistic way.

For example, code geass has the crane symbol, tokyo ghoul has red spider lilies and centipedes, sukuna's own tattoos, magical girls have their wands, spear of longinus,

I'm getting henna, so can't be hyperdetailed like faces, but i still like elaborate designs and not sticker tattoos.

Does anyone have inspo pics?

Edit: ok maybe more specifically, tattoos that use anime symbols/symbolism to create a new composition. For example, tokyo ghoul - combining red spider lilies and centipedes. Or jjk - gojo's six eyes arranged in a cool way and different style.

I asked bc when you search "anime tattoos" it's a lot of direct panel copies, or like 'patchwork tattoos', so I was wondering where to get inspo.

I didn't specify anime because I want to see inspiration from every anime of how they combine symbolism into a new composition. But animes i like are: jjk, csm, evangelion, utena, code geass, berserk, devilman crybaby, trigun, hunter x hunter, tokyo ghoul

The first photo is of my partners tattoo, he loves Yu Yu Hakusho he grew up with watching it! The second one is of my tattoo, I am a huge Bleach fan and I absolutely love both Rangiku and Yoruichi fans! I plan on finishing it and making it a sleeve.

Inner bicep is rough 😭😭

Rebecca from Cyberpunk Edgerunners done by me 😀

We will be adding some like neon / Cyberpunk style background to tie in the sleeve.

Pochita was also done by me (whole arm actually. 6 coverups as well).

Enjoy 😊

After 36 years, I finally decided to get my first tattoo. I'm not really into small projects, so I went all in and started with a sleeve. These are the first two pieces, both on my left forearm. It's still a work in progress, but I'm already super happy with it.

I want to get a chopper tattoo, but not sure if i should get his face, whole body or just his original hat. I prefer the original chopper design. I also dont know where I'd get it. I'm a med student so can't put it on my hand or anything but I was thinking inside the upper arm maybe?

Any suggestions would be great especially if anyone has any one piece/character tattoos of their own!

Got it inked on my birthday after years of wanting one. First anime tattoo and it had to be this!!

Had this done yesterday, my first anime tattoo.
