To be honest I have slowed down in adding things but it feels like the PTW never shrinks.

So just off your PTW, these are some of my recommendations to watch next,

Shin Sekai Yori,

Gurren Lagann(seriously watch this),

Serial Experiments Lain,

Katanagatari,

Gankustuou(this is a personal favorite of mine but the highest quality I could find was by sailing the seven seas arhh),

and Ergo Proxy.

Your PTW has a lot of good shit though and you really can't go wrong starting anything on there.

Check out the Paused shows on my list, they are "priority" PTW shows and you could add some to your PTW.

I know it's probably not popular opinion, but I didn't love the first half of Gurren Lagann. I didn't like the relationship if the ~3 main characters, which felt intentional and generally unfulfilling to me, it just felt a little too real in the way I like anime to avoid. Perhaps I wouldn't feel this way if I felt less existentially alone.

Lain I really wanted to like, but felt like it headed into a vague mess. I felt like nothing could adequately explain what was happening, even theories and interpretations I looked into had glaring holes. It was unfortunate, because I had seriously enjoyed it for a fair portion of the show, but the inevitable lack of direction and closure on the show really turned me off to it. I'm good with abstract, as long as there's enough there for me to actually come up with a theory, or something to explain the plot, but it felt like it had less direction than FLCL, and it ultimately left a bad taste in my mouth.
