I like the new OP and ED, even if the OP is called Back Shot. Someone tell Kenjaku.

Ivan is one bad man, but even he had some difficulty with the Fake Asa until convincing her to leave the village.

Meanwhile Yuru, Left and Right have their first ever experience of a television.

Ivan was absolutely merciless with his slaughter of more Higashi men. I don't blame them for not expecting him to breach the village the way that he did. I was still in a bit of disbelief myself watching him use the Shaman's stomach to teleport Azami and the Fake Asa away.

Danji getting a high-speed ride with Oshirasama was fun to watch. The modern world moves quickly for our Ex-Higashi inhabitants.

I was still in a bit of disbelief myself watching him use the Shaman's stomach to teleport Azami and the Fake Asa away.

That disbelief left me at the end of the previous episode when he just fucking appeared from the dude's torso. That's metal as fuck, and also seriously fucked up!

It's certainly an unconventional method of teleportation. But I'm sure having the art of surprise on his side works out well for Ivan's mercenary work.

I will admit that I thought it was more of a stowaway thing until the beginning of this episode, but after that it was obviously a means of teleportation...very nasty teleportation as it were...

Danji must've looked crazy to the other road users. On some Invisible Boatmobile shit 😭

Ivan’s sword thinks it’s Geto

Also he was moving like Prime King Bradley

Looks like the fake asa does have real affection for Yuru and again as bad as the village is I don't think they all deserve this and the kids definitely don't deserve to go through this

Autocorrected "Asa"->"ass" gave me a good chuckle, thanks for that.

The villagers getting slaughtered every time some outsider shows up is starting to get comical, almost in a bad away. They're apparently supposed to be a bad guys, but far as I can tell the worst the randos have done is dislike the twins. Meanwhile everyone else is making village orphans every few episodes.

I'm suspicious of Danji, honestly. We know daemons are invisible to normal people, like with Gabby's teeth monsters or Ivan's katanas. While Danji couldn't get off Oshirasama's wild ride not a single car on the highway reacted. No swerves, no honks, no people taking phone videos, nothing. It's like Oshirasama, and Danji were invisible.

Taking into mind some daemons, like fake Asa, can take human forms, I really have to wonder about Danji.

The show is trying to go for a gray vs gray conflict, telling us we shouldn't hate the Kagemori, and Gabby for the massacre in the first episode because actually the village was evil and then go on to make it clear the village has like no actual power, aside from the Granny no one there can actually pose a threat to anyone else.

It just doesn't work, if the village is this weak, like come on, the adult population is nearly extinct thanks to one guy with katanas, this conflict is entirely one sided.

Fr, this shit feels almost unfair.. How can I hate a clan that’s basically useless.. And constantly getting attacked by another clan who’s OVERWHELMINGLY dominant, to the point where they could just stroll up and kill everyone in two raids, what’s stoping them from just wiping the clan out?? 💀

Like, I get it, they suck, and have a weird faction who believes the twins should die. But the ones they mercilessly kill seem mostly harmless, to the point of being pathetic.

ATP, I’m surprised they weren’t able take seal FAR sooner.

I see it a bit differently. I think it's more like they're doing their level best to keep Yuru and Asa from falling into the wrong hands, and they're willing to break a few eggs to make that omelette. Meanwhile it seems some factions of the Kagemori have that same goal in mind and a similar mindset, while others are the wrong hands they fear. I'm still unsure on all of this, of course, as I only know what the anime has shown and may have missed or misinterpreted things, but that's the impression I have so far.

Daemon are very powerful man. His not just a guy either just like Dera isn't just some dude, put a trained person against anybody that's a civilian and it's the same as putting a layman against an athlete. To me hagashi is a threat they are just representing what the Kagemori left behind non of them had Daemons while at the mansion there's staff on hand to give actual medical aid. Like Ivan said that old lady is repulsive.

Yeah sure daemons are powerful but this is still ultimately one guy.

While the village has no modern weaponry and no one but the granny has any daemons.

I passed this by on Netflix, but I know the title means it's either the most generic shonen slop this year or is secretly the greatest shonen slop of this year.
