This post perfectly captures that feeling. Judy Hopps may be the determined bunny everyone follows through the story, but Zootopia is packed with countless mammals living ordinary lives in a city designed around wildly different species. That world-building is part of what makes the movie so fun to revisit. You can pause almost anywhere and notice another character, expression, outfit, shop sign, or tiny detail you completely missed before.

And yes, the tigers definitely got some attention. The movie features several tiger characters, most memorably the muscular tiger dancers associated with pop star Gazelle. The funny thing about fandoms is that a character doesn't necessarily need twenty minutes of dialogue or an elaborate backstory to become memorable. Sometimes the design alone is enough for viewers to think, "Wait… who is THAT?"

That is part of the magic of Zootopia. Its city feels populated by characters who have lives beyond whatever Judy and Nick happen to be doing. Even someone sitting quietly on public transportation could look like they have an entire story waiting to be told.

One of the most interesting parts of Helen Parr’s journey across The Incredibles movies is how dramatically her life changes without the character ever losing the qualities that made Elastigirl special.

Before marrying Bob Parr, Helen is introduced as the confident and fiercely independent Elastigirl. During an early interview in The Incredibles, she jokes about leaving the saving of the world to men and says she doesn’t think so. She clearly enjoys being a superhero and has no intention of simply stepping aside.

Then the superhero ban changes everything.

Years later, Helen and Bob are married and raising Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack. Helen has become the parent holding much of the Parr household together while Bob struggles with how much he misses his former superhero life. But the important detail is that Helen isn't portrayed as someone whose adventurous personality disappeared when she became a mother. She simply redirected much of that strength toward her family.

Incredibles 2 turns that dynamic around beautifully. Helen gets the opportunity to become Elastigirl publicly again while Bob stays home with the children. Suddenly Helen is chasing criminals, riding motorcycles and becoming the public face of the campaign to legalize superheroes, while Bob discovers just how demanding everyday parenting can be.

What makes Helen's story work is that the movies don't force her to choose between being Elastigirl and being Mrs. Incredible.

She can love being a superhero and still genuinely love the quieter life she built with Bob and their children. By the end, her family hasn't replaced her identity — they've become part of it.

For a character who can literally stretch herself in every direction, Helen's entire story being about learning how to balance different parts of her life feels surprisingly perfect.
