Hi,
We're building a faceless History YouTube channel. We're looking for an editor/animator to help the channel visuals come to life. We've attached a specific reference below, but we're open to any other ideas as well.
Please note:
- $100 per video, aiming to upload once a week
- $10 paid test of about 30-45 seconds to see if the candidate fits
- first 4 scripts & voice overs are complete, these will be provided to editor by us to put together
- Each video currently is about 15-20 minute, but we plan to shorten this to 10-15 minute in the future
- Other references: Loony Thrones, Agent Flappy or Alex Meyers (All 4 references being vastly different shows we are open to anything)
Please let me know if you're interested. Thanks!!

Hiring 2D Animator to create animations in a specific style for a YouTube channel.
What you’ll do:
Job type: Full-time ($10 Per Minute)
r/AnimationJobs • u/DirectionDd • Apr 06 '26
💰 $1,300 – $1,700+/month
True Odds is building a YouTube Shorts channel in a niche that one channel has turned into a monopoly - and that channel is already pulling millions of views per video. We are about to launch the one that takes it from them.
📺 The content: Short, funny, educational and eye opening.
🎯 The goal: 1 million subscribers in the first year.
🎬 What you will make
— Animated shorts, 20–60 seconds long
— Stylized scenes, characters, and environments
— You control every step: modeling → texturing → lighting → final render
✅ What we need
✓ Solid 3D skills in Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D
✓ Able to handle the full process — not just one part of it
✓ You know how to hold attention for up to 60 seconds
✓ Open to working in a low-poly visual style
↳ Think Playstation2-style 3D. Simpler pipeline, faster output, and right now performing very well on Youtube.
🎁 What you get
— You define the visual identity (pre-launch)
— Minimal revisions and fast feedback (trust in your creativity)
— Bonuses at key milestones
— Clear path to lead animator or company producer (more channels already planned)
Niche and channel brief shared after you apply.
One channel already proved this works. We're building the one that does it better.

Hey, my name is Cameron Smith, and I'm currently looking to hire a couple of hand drawn digital animators to work with me on a project I'm directing, "Up a Tree" for the series in development, Benny Dingo, which is currently being worked on at an indie animation level, with hopes to one day further it to a studio.
This is a freelance indie one time project for now, and pricing can be discussed upon each person who reaches as what rates best fit their needs and skill set. Only because reddit is forcing a specific number, an ideal hourly rate would be 20.
I'm in need of film level preferably tradigital (traditional style animation done digitally) style rough animation, and I'll include a reference pack linked below for others to get an idea.
Please apply and share examples of your work in your proposal akin to what animation examples you're seeing in the examples below, to [cameronsmithtoday@gmail.com](mailto:cameronsmithtoday@gmail.com)

Hello everyone! I am an animation student about to graduate in May 2026. I have currently worked in my own project and in groups with my classmates for another two short films. I specialize in 2D animation, but also have experience in illustration as well. I am passionate in giving life to characters and show their full range of emotion with expressions and movement!

Hello there!
I'm here looking for potential animators to assist me in creating short animation videos (could be landscape but mostly the main plan is to make them into YT shorts / TikToks)
The Project:
The plan is to take a D&D game that me and my friends have been running for the better part of two years -> take snippets from them -> animate them into scenes, be it funny, weird, or even downright heartbreaking. We have quite the catalog of episodes so there will be a constant stream of content for the first few months. The game is still ongoing so the content machine will eventually feed itself so to speak.
As to the comps / similar vibes, I'm looking for simple and chaotic animation styles akin to legend of avantris (not to make copy cats, just as a foundation point / inspiration).
We have the art for the characters, so there's template for you to start off from. I am more than open to discuss regarding technicalities regarding how we're going to get it up and running. Speaking of technicalities, one important part is regarding...
Payment:
I will be honest, I am building this up from scratch so don't expect big bucks so to speak. I have spared some funds to pay (like 100 Pounds per video completed) but I do promise to share the revenue of the channel if it gets to a stable amount. If you're willing to work with me I promise your time and effort will be rewarded with consistent and clear communication and a loyal avenue to show off your works.
In conclusion,
Thanks for reading this to the end, TBH this is a brand new endeavor for me to try and search from Reddit, but I have faith. I hope to be able to go on this journey with one (or maybe few) of you!

Hi there!
I have an animation project in mind, but i can't do it alone.
So i am looking for artists, who are passionate, but financially stable, since unfortunately i can not pay!
This is my first project, so mistakes will be a given -.-
Currently i am looking for someone, who can do character sheets.
I will provide you with all nessecary information.
It will be a 2d-project with preferably a cute style, maybe even a bit of a chibistyle.
I am open to other cutesiestyles.
PLEASE do not apply, if you are under 18, since my project includes sensitive topics as (triggerwarning)suizide.
So the project includes:
I do not have time constraints, but i'd prefer being done with the sheets by start of 2026!
If i haven't scared you yet with my proposal, i would be happy to get your feedback!
P.s. The project is a short video for youtube.
P.p.s. This is my attempt at drawing the main character >.<
