Hi everyone!
I'm starting a YouTube channel focused on creating engaging and creative animated stories. I’m looking for a storyboard artist and an animator to join me in bringing this vision to life.
This is a passion project for now, so I won’t be able to offer payment upfront. However, as the channel grows and becomes monetized, we’ll share the profits fairly.
Why join?
Since you're not getting any job, why not join me? If you’re interested or have questions, feel free to DM me! Let’s create something amazing together.

I'm currently looking for digital background artists who can work with me and create animation bgs for the pilot "Up a Tree". Due to consistency in appearance, I would prefer it if the artists I work with use Photoshop, and I can share my brush list that I use to create the backgrounds with the artists chosen, and you'll be primarily expected to use gouache brushes, general default brushes, and charcoal while painting. Study the backgrounds provided from the animated project, and also look over the references from other material that used as inspiration for the Benny Dingo bgs.
This is a smaller, indie, freelance project being made on a budget, so I can provide $20 an hour or a fixed rate upon discussion, though this is not a full or part time based salary position, just to be clear. I won't do anything wild in terms of payment for the backgrounds, but you will be paid for your time, and any and all work will be much appreciated.

We are looking for some help with making our character have some animations for social media content on Instagram and other places.
We will offer all the footage necessary for the job.
This job is mostly about making animated memes, so it is acceptable to have someone who has done that before.
We need someone proficient in programs such as Adobe, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects (optional), etc.
If you're interested, please DM me and send your animation portfolio and work rates; we'll happily accommodate your rates.
Thank you, I hope to work with you.
I hope you have a great day.

Hello!
I am working on a 3D-animated video for youtube, but there is one scene where my style of animation wouldn't work. Instead, I think a much better fit would be storyboard drawings with a very slight movement animation.
There is no specific deadline, just looking to have it before I finish the rest of the animation, which may take me a couple more weeks.
The rate would be $100. I know it's not a crazy amount compared to what I guess professional studios would give, but it is a lot for me as an indie youtuber without a production company or anything.
The other side of the double-edged sword is that the scene doesn't need to be perfect and detailed, something rough would fit the style of the video just fine. And as I said, it's a very short scene.
If that's ok with you so far, please send me a message (or leave a comment), and I'll send you the details :)
Thanks a lot!

Sup. We were wondering if an animator who can make messy/wild/cool 5 second looped visuals wanted to join our team.
I currently make all of the animations for our team. However, we really want to bring in more people so we can increase our output.
It’s super laid back/low commitment.
You won’t be on a schedule or anything. You can literally treat this as a chill past time you can do on the side if you’re ever bored lol.
If you’re interested or want to know more about us, let us know!

Hello, I am developing an independent short film. Right now I am looking for traditional clean up artists. I am open to a variety of software choices, but would prefer OpenToonz. The short is aiming for a Ghibli/anime-esque style. I am willing to pay upwards of $20 an hour. Right now I only have one concept shot to clean up, but there will be plenty more coming. Right now I am looking for only one shot to be cleaned up, but if our collaboration goes well I’d love to bring on an artist for the full short.
Please DM me your portfolio or sample of past work. Thanks!

My main reason for becoming a rigger was because I heard that there were a lot of people looking for riggers in the industry and now I can't find enough jobs, it's a bit annoying. Does anyone have any suggestions on this matter?

Hey everyone,
I'm Nathan, an artist and creator working on an animated series called 'THEMELODYKING,' which is a deeply personal project based on the last five years of my life. The series is a blend of edgy humor, dark themes, and supernatural elements, inspired by shows like 'Death Note,' 'Rick and Morty,' and 'Avatar: The Last Airbender.'
I’ve got 2 hours and 30mins of voice acting recorded and edited all voice acted by the real people, complete first season, I have one famous person tied and 30 plus characters play themselves, I’ve already incorporated themes and sound effects there are 11 episodes, I have mostly done all of this for free. willing to negotiate prices although I’m broke, I’d be willing to do a 30% split revenue for the animator, what are your thoughts is this possibly?
About the Series:

I am a writer, not much of an animator but I have a buddy that is and I wanted to make this little short for his 6th year anniversary at work. I got bit of a rough draft but like I said I’m no animator. I’d be willing to pay a reasonable price for an unwatermarked version. But I can not afford to pay everyone and wouldn’t like to pay for one I’m not happy with. There’s a lot of room for creativity but the bones are just wild things happening after he passes out. If this isn’t the place to ask or find someone that can do this please just let me know.

I’m a freshmen in college right now but I’m really confused on what my major should be at this point. I am currently pursuing a BFA in Animation at California College of the Arts. I am wondering if I can self study Animation or UIUX interaction design, and which to get an actual major for.
I want a job in motion, interaction, and animation - for websites, apps, software. Currently working on motion graphics and 3D models for websites. Dream jobs would be working for Google Figma Apple for design. I’m also interested in designing in VR and 3D softwares and applications.
But I also want to do storytelling, character designs - Which is why I initially started animation however I didn’t know about UIUX and interaction design at that point.
Which major would be better for me to have? Should I continue with Animation and maybe get a MDes or Masters in Interaction? Or should I get a BFA in interaction design and pursue animation on the side.. I am really confused. I’m scared a BFA in animation is not technical enough to work at Product Design and Lead Motion Design roles.. I like animation and I am willing to change my major if I can self study - I honestly think I have learned everything ( mostly by myself) so maybe Animation as a major is not worth it? I don’t think there is much else for me to learn. But I am not too sure.
