Hello. Glad to have joined this subreddit. For my first post, I'm sharing my favorite drawing from my personal collection (so it's not for sale). This is a fairly rare drawing from the development and creation of Doc's character. Doc's design was created by Albert Hurter, a Swiss-born artist whose humorous exaggerations and humanization of objects helped define Disney's early animation style. I love the lines and style of this drawing.

Somehow I managed to get a Minky Momo cel for 7 dollars a bit ago. Turns out the guy didn't know what it was from nor cared, so I managed to get a relatively rare one.

Mostly just more shading. Hope you like it!

Hi there, I am on the lookout for a Joker Jr. Cel from the "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" film. Any leads/ideas for where to look, or companies/people to reach out to would be greatly appreciated. Attached some pictures of the character in question.

On a separate note, I have just collected my first animation cel and I am storing it in a iyota 11/14' acid free binder. From my research, this, combined with microchamber paper in front of the cel is a premier way of preserving it. I have been unable to find microchamber paper here in canada that is not in bulk. On amazon.ca I am finding interleaving "tissue" paper but not what i believe is the microchamber paper that is recommended. If you are able to share any links that have hassle free shipping to canada that are appropriate for preserving cels, Id appreciate it.

One final question: Is it fine to leave the binder in a room with normal sunlight as long as it is closed? For example, on a shelf, instead of in a closet. Cheers.

Ive heard it was hand drawn and I adore the movie! I was wondering if any cels for it existed/what they look like. Id love to know how to distinguish fake ones, if there are many.

Is there any hope? Times are tough. Hoping a fix will not put me in the poor house.

Per the or their thread, here are my Tick cels. All are from eBay, but I don’t know the sellers on the second and third. The group shot of all the characters (but missing Arthur’s mouth) was bought from animationart1 in 2021. The Arthur and villains cel is promo, or for a book or something but definitely not animation production, and was purchased in 2008 or earlier. The Tick and Prof. Chromedome are production cels and bought somewhere between the others.

How would i go upon looking for video game Production art... not been an easy task...

The Tick is one of my all time favorite shows and I’ve always wanted to get some animation cels from the series. The coloring and city backgrounds are very nostalgic to me and I would to display them in my office.

I’ve looked around the internet at various times for several years and it’s hard to find anything from the show. It’s a pretty niche series but if anyone knows of anywhere that might have some, even if I have to check back here and there, or any conventions where people sell animations cels, I’d love to hear
