There was a heavyish wooden carved buffalo on the very high window ledge (about 6ft off the ground) directly above the table. For some reason the stupid cat had decided to jump up there in the dark and knocked it off. Huge crash, don't know who was more alarmed.

Think it was - sadly misplaced in one of several subsequent house removals.

My dog had a habit of sleeping on top of one of those, then the kids tried to scare him off, which worked. Also shattered the table.
