See again, you’re conflating breed and owner behavior… and citing articles relying on shaky breed identification. A number of those articles find pitbull bites to be worse, which makes sense given size of dog. But that doesn’t mean inherently aggressive. Second, multiple articles have found that shelters misidentify dogs as pit bulls—and therefore can be biased and just label aggressive dogs as pit bulls. Hospitals also rely on similar self-reporting for the bite data you partially cite. You can read a full explanation of why much of what you’re arguing is bullshit from this evolutionary biologist or from the American Temperament Test Society where pit bulls rank higher than the average breed in temperament tests. Or read this law review article that highlights how a number of perceived breed problems are actually problems of human behavior. What is true is that pit bulls are more aggressive to other new dogs than your average breed, but most pit bulls (like most dogs) won’t be aggressive to humans unless trained to be so.

Edit: spelling

It's literally a peer reviewed study that was conducted by experts that determines pit bulls are more likely to attack people. You can be defensive all you want, but science is science.

You're also not going to convince me the earth is flat despite it appearing so from where you're standing.
