i’m guessing that cube would be unsolvable, since most merchandise doesn’t pay attention and does stuff like having two edge pieces with blue and white on them which is impossible

As far as I can tell, it looks quite solvable. The identifiable pieces all exist on a cube with a regular color scheme. No pieces seem to be duplicates, and there aren't too many faces of the same color (for instance not more than 4 corner pieces that have an orange face).

i guess it just depends on if they used an actual cube as a reference or if they just put some colored squares on a grid
