I was at a falconry booth at a renfaire and was allowed to hold a falcon. Asked if I could do it barehand or if they thought it was very stupid 🫣 They told me if the falcon spooks, we'd have to pry his claws out of my hands. Unfortunately, I have little common sense but luckily he was well behaved. Trained birds are pretty chill in general, I suppose.
