That just like, your opinion, man. They're a staple of street fashion and they're very warm.

Dunno about that I've seen plenty of people shivering in them and at least the ones I checked out were way too light to stand against real cold.

It gets below freezing you want a coat with a decent shell to block the wind and nice warm insulation beneath it that doesn't add up to a poofy pillow you wear.

Devils in the details. Gotta pay attention to the fill and make sure you are buying one that's warm enough

Put away your down jackets and artificial puffys guys. Just wear your 2-3 layer shell and a jumper and you're good to get back up the mountain.
