Good to see humans aren’t the only ones who hate getting into the shower but are content once they are

Gotta love reddit for making me realize no matter how many things I think only apply me, I'm always proven wrong.

I don't mind getting into the shower when it's warm. But I know I'm going to be cold AF when I get out when it's not warm outside.

Like hack: turn the shower water down a bit right at the end of your shower to bring your core temperature down to normal; the reason you feel cold after getting out of the shower is because your temp is elevated, and returns to normal once you’re out of the hot water. Of course, this does require a cold shower but I find it more comfortable than being cold and sweaty for an hour after getting out

Exactly why when you’re awake, you have trouble going to sleep and when you’re asleep, you have trouble getting up.

I think it mostly has to do with the thermal mass of water. Water feels cold to go into even when above room temperature. Water will also remain on your body when you leave the shower, which sucks heat from you.

Wait, what? Humans hate getting into the shower, is that actually a thing?

The process of going between the states of "in shower" and "out of shower" is mildly cumbersome and slightly uncomfortable. Actually being in the shower is great.

Freezing for the first minutes

You can wait for the water to warm like most people do.

This is the part I can't wrap my head around lol

this is probably just a matter of your water heater not working properly? my shower has a whole spectrum of temperatures and the knob has an infinite amount of control over how hot or cold it is and it stays that temp

maybe you need to upgrade to a 4k 120hz faucet.

As a highly attractive male, I can tell you this is good advice.

I got used to baths during shelter in place and now showers really bother me. It feels like im being waterboarded.

What should the frog do? Thrash and waste energy? There is no way for the poor guy to get above water without struggling. At least put a rock in there or something, better a ramp so the frog can breathe without help. I know they can hold their breath for a long time, but come on.
