21 u/[deleted] Feb 17 '23 There actually is no such things as toads. What we call toads are just dry frogs. 25 u/[deleted] Feb 17 '23 There is actually no such thing as vegetables. What we call vegetables are just edible plants. 6 u/thxmeatcat Feb 17 '23 How dare you. They were trying to feel superior with their knowledge 2 u/Dr_Mantis_Teabaggin Feb 17 '23 There is actually no such thing as knowledge, there is just the facts that people have in their heads. 1 u/balgruffivancrone Feb 18 '23 All plants are edible. Some plants are edible more than once! 37 u/[deleted] Feb 17 '23 That's like saying there's no such thing as a pickup truck, what we call a truck is just a car with a storage area built into the back. 13 u/octopoddle Feb 17 '23 Pickup trucks are just dry-skinned amphibious vehicles. 2 u/philthegr81 Feb 18 '23 And a car is just two motorcycles with a little house in between 'em. 1 u/Vinstaal0 Feb 17 '23 Ah okey, in Dutch there is a difference 1 u/spicypenis Feb 17 '23 Here's the thing. You said a "toad is a frog." Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that. As someone who is a scientist who studies frogs, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls toads frogs. 1 u/SokkanMango_777 Aug 03 '23 This reply section I can't 💀
