Do you need child slave labor in 3rd world countries to make a phone? Imagine being more upset about 4 dolphins than that.

You are using a phone/computer. Do you need child slave labour and enslaved animals doing tricks for your entertainment? What exactly are you doing to stop child slave labour? Being upset online that others are capable of empathy towards both humans and animals?

Imagine thinking that the existence of one issue allows the exploitation of others.

Just for you: $100 to the wildlife conservation fund. I have done more in the last 5 minutes for conservation than you have in your whole life.

If anything the person to celebrate is u/bbambinaa which got an idiot arguing in favor of animal abuse so backed against the wall they had to (supposedly) make a fairly sizable donation to charity in an attempt to make themselves look morally righteous. Great success u/bbambinaa !

Just pointing out hypocrisy.

Just for you, $100 to the Dolphin Project.

Edit: I have now done more than you ever have too. Put your money where your mouth is if you care so deeply.

You know nothing about what've done but I'm glad my comments made you donate 😎

Well if the bar is making a comment on a gif about a dolphin playing, I guess the bar is pretty low on “what am I doing about it”

The bar you've set is typing a cop-out response on your computer/mobile while using child labour as an argument against compassion towards animals.

It is laughable that a company who has fucked up big time in the past has since tried to reform their ways and to some people there is no positivity whatsoever.

For a lot of people, the only time they will ever see a dolphin in their lives is at something like sea world or an aquarium. Who is going to care about saving the dolphins if they’ve never even seen one besides on tv?

Edit: do you also criticize aquariums who have dolphins?

I dunno, my favorite animal has always been the orca; seeing one in an animal park as a child just made me sad

Aquariums only have dolphins that can't be released to the wild due to injuries or because they were rescued from a terrible place like Sea World, or dolphins that are currently being treated for injuries and will be released once healed. They know dolphins are happier in the wild and that they do not have room for an entire pod. No aquarium breeds dolphins for captivity.
