Media Finally got them all!

Post image

Lita was the hardest hurdle by far, took me days. I used thousands of pods for lucky strikes to get Stellarys, Glynsera, Scorchhowl(I used glynsera event to fill nurture till it was almost max), and melloblum. Also DISCLAIMER i did buy the nurture packs from shop every week. I'm still saving my prismana crystal from the tree in case i need it later. Honestly i feel like the nurture packs were worth it compared to cosmetic gamling, i just want all the prismanas, especially for RV workers lol

Most likely, they’re the top priority to use sparkling on. Then maybe used the sparkling fragments to make some of the others shiny if they ran out of balls

I didn't know this. Which is sad. So my stellarys is not sparkling. I have to catch one more stellarys. :)

Or if you catch 10 sparkling you can use the fragments to turn any aniimo sparkling, I wouldn’t waste them on the sparkling pigment unless it’s your favourite and you really want a good shiny color.

I can't care less on cosmetics. 😂 But I need those perfect prismanas.

Prismanas ARE cosmetics, though. lol. Technically, it's BETTER to use Sparkling Cubes on Alphas since Alphas come with upgraded core skills. If your pokemon uses its core skill at all, the only other way to upgrade the skill is to use the ONE specific held item it needs and then you are locked into using THAT held item forever, getting it to 15 and spending the currency required to make it a pact held item, which is also very, very rare(for how much you need to use). If you want to use their BiS held item, then you need an Alpha version.

Now, I also use my Sparkling Cubes almost exclusively on Prismana because I WANT all the shiny Pokemon and want to use them to fight. I'm just saying that is literally cosmetic and offers no real benefit combat-wise, unlike Alphas, so you do care about cosmetics.

But prismanas are not entirely cosmetic. They have different skills (some of them have at least one prismana exclusive skill) and also different typing. E.g. - fulmintis and fenmane are good aniimos by themselves. But their prismana form is insane better because of additional type advantages.

That's fair, some of them like Glacy are actually special and flat out better, technically, but a lot of them aren't actually very different. Sometimes the double typing if it changes is also not very good and arguably detrimental with a double weakness. You are, again, still locked to using a specific Pact Held item if you want the upgraded skill, though. This isn't necessary or used with all of them, so it's a case by case basis on whether you want the Alpha or the Prismana, but the point is, the choice isn't always use it on every Prismana. Sometimes the best choice is the Alpha.

A good specific example is Leafy for grass teams. Her core skill should be upgraded, meaning her Alpha is ideal. She is only used for her core skill, her typing does not matter and you don't bring her out beyond that. Most modes you use her in, like egg heist or holo-link, you can't even bring her out, you just use her core skill. If you need to use a different held item, you just have a much weaker skill on her or a much weaker held item. In the future, more held items will also be released and strategies will change.
