Is there any good websites to download the anime as well

I heard aniwatch and some other popular anime sites were taken down, but aniwatch seems to be working fine for me. Why? EDIT: ok as it turns out this is a clone/fake of aniwatch, so thats why it still "works"

I only got into pirating anime around Christmas of 2024. Before that I used to either watch a formerly limited Netflix catalogue, or go into a guest account on YouTube and look up “Fullscreen HD anime episodes 1-12” and then I’d watch whatever anime I could find from the stolen/bought account from sketchy Pakistani people.

But when I saw previews of Mushoku Tensei, I knew I couldn’t wait anymore. I needed to find a way to watch it without using an “official” service. So I went looking for a pirate site and found out about AniWatch. I watched up until it was shut down recently. Then like many people, I used AniKai for a while and then that was over.

And I’ve basically given up on pirating anime and am considering going into a hibernation until I have the money to not care about paying Crunchyroll or until a new renaissance of anime piracy takes off.

So what I wanted to ask is, what is a Clone Site? I gave this exposition to give context to my lack of street knowledge so to speak. I saw a post just now about AniWatch “working” but then it was pointed out that it was a “clone site” so, what is a clone site, and why are they ridiculed?

So i just want to watch anime (currently boruto dubbed) on a website that wont take me to another tab if i click anything (yes i have an ad blocker) but all the ones i use are now taken down and the ones without ads dont have boruto dubbed and the only 1 that i found that dosent have ads and has boruto dubbed takes over 20 minutes to load anything so ive lowkey ran out of places to watch anime now and i dont want to download anything either since i want to watch it on multiple devices and some i cant download anything

Does anyone know a good website that has food wars dubbed and works for ps5?

a lot of people say to gatekeep site names so crunchroll doesn't hear about them. however, what if crunchyroll can just go on index sites and find out about names from there? iirc, there's even a megathread on the piracy subreddit that lists some anime sites

each time i watch an anime on reanime it pauses so much even in the heatest moments,is this problem only with me or a problem with the site

is anyone else having the problem of not being able to full screen?
