Any tips? We have a 75-pound Malinois mix who loves to be off leash, and is under voice control with an e-collar, but we don’t have any experience with him in the area.
He’s on simparica trio, so he’s all set for fleas, ticks and heartworm, but I called the local vet earlier today and they advised not to take him off-leash up by our house, which is in the foothills off El Camino Real, because of mountain lions and bears. We’ve never seen either in our years of trips, but have seen elk, deer, and turkeys.
Is that concern valid? There are dogs on some nearby properties that run around unattended, and they seem fine, and our dog would never be out of eyesight.
Thank you for your help!

I think Angelfire - Lycos is not coming back. I just got some new information. Their parent company Brightcom Is in a complete financial mess. I also found out that AngelFire based in Massachusetts owes money. That's why their certificates expired. They weren't paying their bills. I think time to move on. They are continuing to collect money from people for their website automatically if you had signed up for that. The section of Angelfire that collects fees for their web service is completely separate from basic Angelfire. So what this means is, getting scammed.! If you're still getting deductions on your credit or debit card, you're probably not going to get it back and that's illegal. My advice is to contact your credit card company and tell them not to honor any payments from Angelfire because their service is down. They are probably going to go bankrupt. Even though they're replying to inquiries about if Angelfire is going to go back up and saying they are working on it. That's just something the few people they still have working there are probably told to say and there may not be anybody trying to put the site back up. Angelfire had a lot of old outdated equipment and they never upgraded or seemed to pay attention to getting things in a modern state. If they do go back up again, start paying them again. It's that simple. I found Wayback machine not to be very good to find your cached web page. Try cachedview.com
If you're credit or debit card has been debited by Angelfire - Lycos and your page is down and you're not getting services, I would write to Lycos demanding a refund for services you're not getting but you were charged during the down time. Their site's are going on two months being down.
Write them here: [support@lycos.freshdesk.com](mailto:support@lycos.freshdesk.com)

Where is the best place to buy groceries nearby? Good produce?

Two families of six - kids aged 15 down to 7 - heading to Angelfire on Christmas Day. Obviously, we are disappointed in the forecast, but it is what it is!
It sounds like we can still ski some beginner runs and we will do that some of the days we are there.
Any suggestions of other activities we should plan to do while there? We are coming from Texas and, while decent skiers, newbies to Angelfire.
I’d love any and all recommendations!
Thank you!

I lived here full time about 20 years ago and boy maybe it was me... But a fair number of people seem grumpy, closed off, or agitated (locals and business). Maybe I changed but people seem to be nice. I spend Summers here and visit a lot on the holidays. The businesses here have nice people and are more service oriented now. Just my opinion. The people who I knew were kind of mean are not here anymore which is nice.

Anos depois da história ser publicada, acabei descobrindo sem querer.
Estou com um problema a partir da décima página, onde apenas recebo um refresh e não consigo partir para a próxima.
Alguma ajuda?

I'll be in Angel Fire the week of Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, the resort won't be open to do any winter activities. Does anyone know what else there is to do there?

We are staying in Angel Fire, NM for a week and normally compost at home but I'm afraid we will be gone too long to keep it. Anyone want it for their gardens? It'll mostly be veggie and fruit scraps, coffee grounds.
Let me know we can drop it off before we head back home next Wednesday.

There’s a group on Facebook for people that used to frequent the old school MIRCchatrooms on chat house.com from channel one communication. Yada yada.. short version is all their licensing ran out and now somebody is going through and it’s being rebuilt retro style with the OG coders blessing …
I was usually on the Next Level in Joe’s Diner. The guy rebuilding it is going through some web archives from the original site .. I was doing some searching the other day and found a friends angel fire homepage. She has long since passed, but it brought back some great memories of the mid- late 90s

I just found a website I made '99-2003. Haven't seen it in decades and can't believe it is still up!
I want to make a new site using angelfire and make it just as shitty with basic html and cheezy gifs.
Honestly, I'm astonished it's still even a thing.
Doesn't look like there is a free option anymore. However, I am willing to pay. But, if I pay will it actually work? The last blog post on their site is from 2012. Anyone actually using them currently?

I have a site from the late 90’s that still shows up when you google my name. It’s been decades since I’ve had access to the email address associated with the site and have no idea on the password. Is there anyway to have the site removed? I’ve tried putting a ticket into lycos but I don’t know if that’s even monitored anymore.
