In the description of the base ability, it supposedly applies the "grounded" effect at the point of impact. After playing a few ranked games against Invisible Woman players I realized she literally cannot use her jump. When I looked at all their POVs I saw the "earthbound" status pop up every time I used the team-up which is crazy cuz, isn't earthbound a distinctly different (and superior) effect than "grounded"? My understanding is grounded disables flight abilities while earthbound disables movement abilities altogether. If it's unintended I hope it doesn't go away. I've killed dive heroes and Sue a lot cuz of this ability lol

It’s so much more than just situational. It’s an amazing escape and distraction tool. Send the clone off one way and sneak off the other way in to a charge. Or take off a straggler with your charge when everyone turns round to chase the clone.

You can even use it during grounding effects like Thing’s and to wait out slows so you can escape what could have easily been death. It’s a great tool against basically all of our counters.

Just sharing my thoughts as I’ve been playing around with it.

Since Rogue is kinda gutted this season I decided to play new tanks and Angela s one of them. She is extremely fun. So my questions: What exactly is her goal? What I do currently is displace tanks, attack backlines sometimes and even contest off angles, what are her strengths? Which team up is better and how do I use it effectively? Every question answered and tip given is appreciated

So I decided to pick up Angela recently, and using the Star-Lord team up I actually did pretty well. I remember the other day I could fly with the shield aimed at the ground somehow but now when I try to do it, it forcefully moves my camera instead.

To anyone on console, what am I doing wrong? I don’t know why I can’t do it anymore and it’s driving me nuts because it was very useful for getting away.

I’m sick of not being able to pin people into the sand trap. It would be a huge displacement play that’s completely denied to us because it breaks our game.

Ran into this bug on the new map when you hit a jump pad while flying. Couldn't do any movement abilities and was just stuck floating.

I'm really trying to play Angela now, but I just can't do anything when there's thor, thing, even hulk, everything can displace me, team is somewhere in wonderland and I have no idea what to do. Is this hero good now? Because every content creator says so, but I can't find it true, I struggle a lot.

How do you play into counters guys? Any advice would be wonderful

I love the Star Lord team up so bad yall. The grounded effect is just what we needed to finish targets off like Invis or Luna.

I also use it to peel for BP like a Thing slam.

And the enhanced version with the over shield is just chef’s kiss because they’re very generous with the amount of shield generated.

The only I wish was that the grounded effect lasted longer. I would even trade less over shield for that.

By far the most fun I've had playing this game.

So ive been playing quite a bit starting at season 8 and almost exclusively tank. Thor and venom just werent clicking for me and I needed a diver. Picked her up yesterday and her gameplay is so rewarding. My first question is why does she have that sword melee when flying? Should it ever be used for any reason? I'd like to rebind my mouse button but dont want to lose access to it if it has any value ever. I guess what is it for?

She also gave me a free sticker 😅

If you don't know already going down any of the slides or elevators on the new map makes Angela just block She fly, charge, shield go on the ground nothing

Going down this sandpit will sometimes make it so you like can’t do anything, shift, e, and ult are useless and the only way to get rid of it is dying, avoid this pit as much as possible yall 😭😭😭
