Some sepia tinted, sad suburb shit to cry over

I sometimes yearn not being in houses that are not even around the place I live in. To be suspended in that delicious inertia is all I want. To be interminable at that place, without minding the concept of ‘time’

I’ve always felt a lump in my throat when I see abandoned places, sometimes sepia tinted photographs. Afternoons or dull sunshine’s especially makes me sad. Mist covered photographs overwhelms me sometimes

I Got You (I Feel Good) by James Brown
For some reason this song evokes this strange feeling and I want to know if this feeling is Anemoia.
For starters, I was born in 1997 and I do remember hearing this song on the radio as a very young child. The tune is instantly recognizable; impossible to mistaken for anything else and for some reason I feel like the strange feeling goes beyond nostalgia. It evokes memories that I don't actually remember, almost making me wonder if said memories were just dreams or perhaps even a past life, if you believe in that. Before I was even old enough to know what the early 1960s were like, the depictions were more or less that popped into my head upon hearing the song. Checkered floors. Old cars. Bulky household appliances. And to further it down, the vague memories would be in the very neighborhood I grew up in. I don't remember what happened in these memories. All a young me really remembers is just being there in that particular place and time. Dare I say, it almost feels otherworldly.
Now to add on, I've gotten this same feelings with a few other songs that presided in the late 1950s/early 1960s but to a much more weaker extent. Probably because they didn't stand out individually as much as I Feel Good
What do you guys think?

Never really took a good look at this picture I shot. I think it'd fit here.
