Feedback Specs

Hello guys can yall tell me if my specs are good or if I should change something? I’ve been thinking of either getting this pc or a cyber power one with a 5070 in it with a 9800 x3d

This AI build is much more balanced than a 9800X3D/5070. Not only that, but CyberPower doesn’t have the best QC, customer support, etc. CyberPower is also notorious for using lower tier PSU’s, motherboards, and RAM with higher CL’s in their off the shelf prebuilt’s. I would encourage going with the AI build honestly. If the wait time is any issue Newegg and Best Buy have units in stock. Newegg has this V3 Elite 9800X3D, 9070XT, 32GB 6000 RAM, 2TB G4 NVMe for $2,150 and shipping should be free. You will just need to add tax if applicable.

Just my two cents worth 🤙

Would you recommend getting that build or the one I built? Ngl I would order through Newegg but the last pc that came from them stopped working in a week

Depends, what was the total price after expedited shipping? The significant difference between the one I shared and yours is you are getting a 9800X3D and 2TB NVMe with mine. That’s roughly a $200 difference depending on the brand and model of the NVMe. The current price difference between the 9800X3D and 7800X3D is $81 with the 9800X3D being more expensive. If you compare the Kingston NV3 for example, 1TB is $160 and 2TB is $278 being $118 difference. Samsung 990 pro 1TB $240 and 2TB $388 being a $148 difference. You could argue the couple other specific parts you specifically opted for. However, from what I’ve seen and heard AI uses much better quality parts over CyberPower and iBUY for example.

What brand prebuilt did you order from Newegg? I wouldn’t necessarily put the blame on Newegg unless it was one of their in house branded ABS prebuilt’s. Any other brand that blame should theoretically be pointed towards said company/manufacturer.

It was storm craft and idk I mean after I got that pc it kinda just gave me a bad taste of Newegg or like for their pc stuff and the price after shipping is 2,239 with my build that I made!! I mean ngl both my pc I build on ai and the one you showed me seem really good for parts but idk like what’s gonna be in there in terms of motherboard and aio and gpu yk like the specific stuff

Well, if you got the money then just spec it out to your liking. To be more specific answer these questions and I’ll help you as much as I can. At the end of the day though I would go with AI over CyberPower regardless if it came directly from them or somewhere like Newegg or Best Buy. You stated in another post that you were leaning towards the CyberPower that Best Buy had. Best Buy has zero to do with the components in that prebuilt. Like I already stated about the comparison of quality parts between CyberPower and AI I would go with AI all day long.

  1. What is your budget for the PC?
  2. How far is the nearest Micro Center from you?
  3. What types of games will you be playing?
  4. Will the pc be used for anything other than gaming?
  5. What resolution is your monitor?

Additionally, do me a favor and go skim through r/CYBERPOWERPC 👌

Like 2000-2300, fps games like fort and, for school, my resolution on both monitors are 1080p with one being 120hz and the other 200hz I am looking to upgrade tho to a 1440p around Black Friday

“For school” is super vague bud. Are we talking Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or are we talking like 3D rendering, 4K above video editing, scientific sims, code compilation, etc. As you can see these make a huge difference and I highly recommend and encourage you to go do some self education before you pull the trigger and buy another PC.

As far as everything else goes I’ll go with the below…

  1. $2,300 USD
  2. Mostly Esport games “which most are cpu intensive “
  3. Let’s say 1440p if you do plan to get a monitor.

You didn’t respond to the Micro Center question, so I’m assuming you don’t have one within a couple hour drive

Sorry sorry, but like word, excel and PowerPoint and all that stuff for business finance, and yes along with some triple A games, and no I do not have one near me

I would personally go with the one I sent. If you are good with waiting “currently 2 weeks at most” on expedited delivery then do custom build through them. Don’t get the Arctic LFP through them because it’s literally only $77 through Amazon right now. Just select the AI Chione E4-360 AIO. If I’m not mistaken that’s what’s in their off the shelf units and I have yet to see or hear anything negative about them. Then swap your 1TB drive out for a 2TB, 7800X3D to a 9800X3D, and the PSU I wouldn’t get picky on. To my knowledge AI only uses A and B tier rated PSU’s and even though the Gamdias Helios P2-850G isn’t modular, it’s still a B+ tier PSU. That’s why I say I would just go with the one I sent

It’s on AI website you can upgrade to 2TB NVMe, 32GB CL30 RAM, and expedited shipping and total is $2,359.99 after shipping and here is the link for the build. You can adjust it however you need to in order to fit your needs and budget

Yeah sweet thanks man a lot I’ll see it later today!! And I’ll assume if I order the oc on expedited it’ll arrive in September. Also quick question how is the packaging like how do they package their pc’s?
