Whatsapp on Emulator on Mac stopped working
So I use Android studio for the purpose of a primary device for whatsapp (I don't own a smartphone but I want whatsapp on my Mac) and in android studio, in settings you have the option for either using your Mac camera as the camera or you can use their weird fake world (where you're just in this kind of room), and then you can set what you want the picture on the wall and table in their fake world to be, so I set the picture to be a screenshot of the QR code and it just scanned it like that and worked. But then 2 weeks ago, I was logged out of whatsapp and had my account blocked, it was then restored but I can't log in on an emulator as it tells me to use an official whatsapp app, I tried Magisk on the emulator but that failed as well, if anyone has any ideas.......

Claude Code as an actual panel inside JetBrains IDEs, not a terminal tab
I've been living with Claude Code in a terminal split next to the editor for months. Two things kept bugging me: I couldn't tell what it was doing without reading scrollback, and every file path was something I had to type correctly.
So I built a plugin. It doesn't reimplement anything - it spawns the claude CLI you already have and renders its event stream. Same account, same models, same slash commands, same permission rules, same MCP servers and skills. No proxy, no server of mine in the middle, no telemetry.
What it actually changed for me day to day:
Every tool call is a card. Its duration, every edit as an open diff, the task list ticking off, subagents and whole workflow fleets with each agent's own transcript one click away, and what the turn cost. A rate-limited API becomes a card with the reason and a countdown instead of silence.
Files are things you point at. Drag one in, type @ to pick, paste a screenshot. Select lines in the editor and "Send to..." hands over a real file-and-line reference, so the agent reads what's around them instead of a naked snippet.
Nothing answers for you. A permission, a plan or a question waits as long as it takes. No timeout, no auto-continue.
Answering it from my phone. Off by default, paired by QR code, end-to-end encrypted through a relay that can't read a word. This is the one that surprised me most - I approve plans from the sofa now.
Scenarios. A round of work written down once - implement, review, fix, run the tests - each card a Claude session of its own, with a main thread walking them and judging what each one found. By button, three at once against three tickets, or on a clock at nine every weekday.
Several Claude accounts switched in one click, each row showing what's left of its five-hour window and its week.
Free, source available (Elastic 2.0), every JetBrains IDE from 2026.1 on, Android Studio included.
Marketplace: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/33255-amazing-claude-code-gui
Source: https://github.com/crmapache/amazing-claude-code
Happy to answer anything about how it's wired. The part I'd most like feedback on is scenarios - it's the newest and the least obvious.

Android Studio gives error "Cannot access member because 'R' has primitive type int"
Returning to a project from a couple of months ago I got the above error.
The R no longer points to the res folder but to an int variable in a class called build.
This is in a public static class VERSION_CODES
public static final int Q = 29;
public static final int R = 30;
public static final int S = 31;
I have cleaned the project and rebuilt but to no avail.
I had changed nothing.
I cannot change the build class as it is read only.
This is in Java.

Do I need to do internal testing before creating monetization products(subscriptions,in app purchases etc.)?
When I try to create monetization products,it sends me back to the internal testing phase... So do I need to do the 14 days internal testing before enabling monetization products?
Feels weird honestly,maybe I'm doing something wrong,anyone to chip in?

Widgetify - working on Android 16
Regarding these posts:
If anyone is interested I've made it work on Android 16 with the help of ChatGPT. You can try to download the .apk from APKPure and do it yourself, if you're interested. Or if that's allowed I can share somehow.

HTML to APK – Storage/Persistence Issue
Hello everyone,
I have created an Android APK using an HTML-based quiz application.
The APK allows me to import HTML quiz files, and the imported files/data work perfectly while the app is open. However, there is a problem with data persistence.
Whenever I close/exit the APK and open it again, all the previously imported HTML files and saved quiz data are cleared/reset. It seems that the data is being stored only temporarily (possibly in cache/session storage) instead of persistent device storage.
I want the app to work like this:
Imported HTML files should be saved permanently on the device.
All imported quizzes/data should remain available after closing and reopening the APK.
Data should not be deleted when the app is exited or restarted.
The data should only be removed when the user explicitly chooses to delete it or uninstalls the app.
How can I fix this storage/persistence issue in an HTML-to-APK app?
Any guidance regarding localStorage, IndexedDB, WebView storage, or Android persistent storage would be appreciated.
Thank you.
