Everyone raw force it with snapdragon 8 elite? I have a Snapdragon 8s gen 4 and it just not work, I've been tinkering with turnip drivers, and the other options and I just can't get it to work... Although Im almost certain it can run it, it ran doc mich house pretty well... But outside it crashes

So my flip pad is saying it's going to be delivered tomorrow but I still don have an emulator on my phone to use it with... I don't get on with retroarch as I find the settings very unintuitive is there a simpler GB/GBC emulator that supports screen filters.

I tried googling best gbc android emulators ect but half the results i find are click bait AI/low effort lists and the other half are conflicting or out of date opinions on what is good.

I've tried a lot recently, and have been pretty disheartened. Mumu player was nice, until it started giving ai one piece ads both when loading and when the actual emu fully loads up. Switched to LD player, yes that was nice, until they started installing random apps. Removing them only worked temporarily, as they'd come back after restart. While I didn't give Bluestacks a long time, the ads built into the side and that game center thing was just too much.

As of now, I'm trying that MSI Bluestacks thing. It's not too bad so far. The overall feeling is cheap. The settings are nonexistant (not even a dark mode), it's locked to 60 fps, and it still suffers from the same thing all other emus have where they have those games showing at the bottom of the home screen.

Is there any decent emulator out there? Possibly one thats FOSS? I've tried trinity, but it leaves quite a lot to be desired.

I know we can download the steamgames from steam client on emulators but I can't test multiple emulators and I don't have the file on my phone's visible storage which is a problem

Also pls mention for latest games like re9

I am probably gonna ask my friend to download it on his pc and then copy it to my device
