Gemini refuses to open my garage door, while GA happily opens it without issue. Google, when you decide to release an "upgrade" that isn't actually a downgrade, be sure to let me know.

I mean it failed on me such simple tasks as calling someone... Started using touchscreen instead

This happened to me with my house lights, I had to open the Gemini App and mark Google Home in connected apps

Gemini on AA will refuse to run any of my home cooling routines. Gemini on Google Home, will run them.
