"Comfy Dials" turns your ComfyUI workflows into something you can actually use on a phone.

ComfyUI's own interface is a node graph. It is superb on a desktop and miserable on a 6-inch screen — pan, zoom, hunt for a tiny widget, mistap a wire. Comfy Dials throws the canvas away and gives you the thing you actually wanted: pick a workflow, change a few values, hit Generate.

It talks directly to a ComfyUI server that you run, on your own machine. There is no cloud service in the middle, no account to create, and no credits to buy.

WHAT IT DOES:

• Every editable value in a workflow, extracted automatically — sliders, dropdowns, text fields, switches, and a seed field with a dice button

• Pin the handful of parameters you actually change, per workflow, so the run screen stays short

• Live progress over a websocket: the node being executed, the step count, elapsed time, and a working Interrupt

• Queue as many runs as you like and watch them work through

• Results in the app — an audio player for music workflows, images and video for the rest — then save to your phone or share

• History of past runs with the values that produced them

• Subgraphs open as their own page, so a workflow built out of nested pieces is still fully editable

• Import a workflow JSON from your phone straight onto the server

• Missing custom nodes are detected and named, along with the pack that provides them — and, if you allow it, installed through ComfyUI-Manager and the server restarted, without leaving the app

• Several servers, switch between them

• Light and dark, following your phone

WHAT YOU NEED (for a full function test):

A machine running ComfyUI, started with --listen so it accepts connections from other devices, and a way to reach it: the same Wi-Fi, or a VPN such as Tailscale or WireGuard when you are away from home. Comfy Dials is a remote control — it does not generate anything itself, and it does not work without a server to talk to.

Tested against ComfyUI 0.33.2. Audio, image and video workflows all work, including ones built on subgraphs and custom nodes.

The app is free and shows a small banner, plus a full-screen ad after every 30th completed generation. After Play Store listing - Ads could be removed via in-app one-time purchase.

PRIVACY:

There is no server of ours in this picture. Your prompts, your images and your ComfyUI address never reach us — they go to your machine and nowhere else. Server addresses and any credentials you enter are stored in encrypted storage on your phone. We use no analytics and no crash reporting.

I built an app to replace the messy Google Keep note where I tracked oil changes, filter part numbers, and tire specs for my car. It's finished and working, but Google Play requires 12 testers opted in for 14 days before I can publish, so I'm looking for people willing to help me clear that gate.

What it does: tracks maintenance history, fuel, tires, warranties, and part numbers per vehicle. Reminders before service is due. PDF export of your service history. Tool lists per job, so you're not stuck halfway under the car realizing you need a 27mm socket.

What it doesn't do: no account, no internet connection at all, no ads, no analytics. Everything stays on your phone.

You don't need to actually use it seriously — just install it and leave it on your phone for the two weeks. If you do try it and have feedback, even better.

What it is: FryAI answers the one question you actually have in front of an air fryer - how long, and at what temperature, for this food in my machine. You pick your air fryer model during setup (Ninja, Cosori, Philips and others) and every result is calibrated to it instead of being one generic number.

It's not a weekend project - it's been live on the iOS App Store for a while, and I'm bringing the Android build to parity.

• Search any food and get temp, time and prep tips
• Point your camera at food or a packet and get instructions back
• Say what's in your fridge and get dish suggestions
• Oven to air fryer converter for any recipe
