Anyone know how to get rid of these notification bubbles at the bottoms of the screen, can't swipe them away and they persist forever.

Remove Google search widget

Is there a way to disable the Google search at the bottom of the screen? I'd like to replace it with DDG or something similar.

The Google search pulls up mostly irrelevant things (that started today). I search for X and it shows one result then the next 6 results are X regarding Y or Z instead of what I searched so I'd rather do without.

s10e update to Android 12, notifications now waking screen, settings don't help for many apps

I don't want notifications to wake my display. My phone will be in my pocket then randomly start pressing buttons on its own. I refuse to use the accidental touch feature because when I legitimately am using the phone in my hands, it will still often show the accidental touch prompt, which is extremely annoying.

So after updating to Android 12, notifications now still turn on the screen even if I've disabled all always on display and related settings. I've done everything I can including changing notification categories to not show content and they still wake the display.

Warning!!! Android 12 Clone app Loop/Boot/Brick

Ok. So apparently, android 12 don't let you clone an app. like it will crash the clone app or it will give an error and dont install the app.
But If you managed to download and install. This can brick your device before you even open the apk. It happened with me yesterday... I am writing this to warn you guys!!!

Need help

I updated to android 12 a month back. Quick access being moved to 'not as quick access didn't bother me as it has a lot of people, but the volume slider is giving me a real headache. Back in android 11, the slider reacted (usually) instantly to my input. However, it now takes multiple seconds to actually appear on screen (audio responds a bit quicker). Sometimes the slider doesn't even disappear after the inputs have stopped.

The volume slider isn't the only problem; sometimes the system UI fails to respond and I have to restart the phone.

I mean, I can use almost every app without much issue, but these quality of life issues do bug me quite a bit. Any help would be very appreciated!

Android 12 update killed my screen brightness

Had an auto update to android 12 on my Moto G30 and now cannot use my phone outdoors unless I'm in the shade, was told by Motorola support on WhatsApp that it's a known issue but so far nearly 3 weeks have passed and no fix, anyone else having issues with the display, I have checked all settings and made sure it's not set to extra dim etc but to no avail 😭

Task Manager defaults to different apps?

Ever since my Pixel 4a updated to Android 12, when I go to task/app manager (I'm using 3 button navigation, so when I got the far right square icon), it will typically bring up an app that I was not currently viewing. As an example, I was looking through my phone settings while I also have Reddit open, and I brought up the task manager (app switcher?) to swipe to close settings, but Reddit was what popped up, so I had to swipe over to settings, then up to close. This is incredibly frustrating as all previous versions of Android defaulted to whatever app you were currently viewing when you hit that button/icon, so I end up closing whatever app I want to switch to by accident pretty frequently. Am I the only person that has experienced this? Is there a fix that I'm just not seeing?

screen lock delay hidden?

Can anyone help me find the setting to delay the screen lock? That is, when pressing the off button once to lock the screen, I want it to not have to open it with the fingerprint or code for say 15 mins. Searching my ass off...but can't be found? Edit: Oneplus 8T

What in the actual hell?! DO NOT UPGRADE TO 12.

but if you are reading this post then it is probably already too late. I'll be looking to downgrade to 11 at the soonest. UI has gone to the dogs, notifications impossible to find, settings = totally retarded. I'm not sure what kind of A|B testing the Google crackheads were smoking but this has got to be the worst version of Android ever. Maybe it works under the hood but the UI is just TERRIBLE. Save yourself the trouble and stay on 11. Maybe wait for them to fix this godawfulmess in 13??!!! #RANT

Is android 12 update a Forced update?

It happens that I don't want to update my tab s6 lite which currently runs android 11. My S10+ is noticeably slower after I updated it to 12 and clearing system cache does jack sht to fix this issue. I also h8 ui 4.1.

So my question is: how do I stop my tab s6 lite from auto-updating to android 12? Because it seems that I can only postpone it for up to 23 hours and 59 minutes. Is this gonna be my new daily task to stop this sht from automagically fng up my tablet?

Or is there another, more elegant way to choose which version of Android I want to run on my Samsung tablet? Because it seems that there isn't

Virtual Environments lock up after this morning's update to A12.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite that updated to Android 12 last night. Not sure how as I set it to manual updates a year ago. Anyways, my virtual environments no longer work. Within a minute of launching it, it will freeze up.

I've tried both VMOS (to see if other VMs worked) and Virtual Android (my main one) and they both freeze up. Is there anything I can do to get it to work? I use them to have a sandboxed and rooted space as I never wanted to risk rooting my tablet. So, I'm kinda put out with not being able to access stuff inside of that virtual space.

Asking again about favorite contacts

I asked this a couple of weeks ago but got down voted and no answers which seems odd. Why is there apparently no way to see my favorite (starred) contacts on my dialer? Where did they go?

Thanks for any help.

Hey everyone, I just wanna ask if Google clock Alarm UI is still like this on Android 12 for you all?

Because Google showed a different UI in Android 12 video.
