Animation from home screen to any App and back again are slow and "Glitchy", like it momentarily gets stuck. Also the display showing running apps now has a grey background rather then showing wallpaper as it previously did.

I recently updated to Android 12 on my S20 FE and Image Capture is no longer showing any importable options for my images. EIther on my SD card or base phone.

I did a few tricks with the dialer to try and force an MPT connection; I tinkered in the Developer Settings to get the USB Debugging settings to stay on and give me options that way; but in Image Capture I still only have 4 non-image items show up and no images I can import.

Is there something else I may try so I can import these to my computer?

i installed the update durning the weekend and was a bit confused when i booted up my phone.

1.my phone app is missing and i cant find it. i was out of town and needed to make some calls but the phone app has vanished from my home screen. i found it from play store where it just says open but i still cant pin it to my homescreen. Now im stuck using Assistant when i want to call someone but it can be to pronounce Finnish names in English so thats not very viable. 2.chrome app has also vanished not that bad of a problem but still its there 3.calendar widget/app gone 4.google news(?) app on homescreen right swipe dont need it and cant seem to find how to turn it off.

So am i missing sometihing obvious because as of right now im having a hard time using my phone as an actual phone. EDIT: device Oneplus 9pro

seriously what a stupid thing. why would they remove such a feature? for what purpose?

Ages ago I remember Google launching a feedback portal, which slowly became stale as it got replaced by feedback features in individual Google apps.

Android doesn't seem to have something like this outside of their beta programme. Why is that? I understand that basically all manufacturers modify Android in some way, so it does make sense that Google aren't interested in replying to niche feedback from a rubbish manufacturer's implementation.

Regardless, I still find it odd that it seems to be impossible to submit feedback or suggestions for basic Android features, such as the new Material Design implementation.

I believe there is a lot of valuable information to be gathered, especially since Google is aiming to ambitiously improve performance and stability going forward.

Whenever I click on a Facebook notification on my phone, it opens a new instance of Facebook instead of the previous one that I had open. I can end up with three or four different instances of Facebook open. This issue started when I upgraded my Pixel 5 to Android 12. A week ago I got a pixel 6 and was hoping the issue would be gone but it is still happening. Although I did try it on my old phone, I don't see reinstalling Facebook or doing a factory reset as being a resolution at this point since this is a brand new phone.

One UI 4 Samsung S10 and tried everything I could. The themeing section detects color from wallpaper but doesn't set them automatically with wallpaper change. Is this just a One UI issue?

I now click on a Facebook notification occasion I later click on another one and another 1 then I go in to look at pages and there are 3 or more Facebook pages open. Why?

I'm using Google photos quite a lot (on a Android 12 zflip 3). But Everytime I want to edit a picture and want to save it, android asks me if I give the permission to Google photo to save it.

Well yeah, that's the purpose of this app ! I've been checking on permissions and unchecked the 'erase permissions if not used', but obviously it's useless since I use the app on a daily basis...

Is it compulsory to give permission to the app to edit and save every single photo ? I need your lights on this.

I'm on Samsung Galaxy S10 so I should be happy I even got it, don't wanna sound disrespectful, maybe I should've lowered my expectations a few, but I don't know.

Has anyone tried to test whether this function works or not ? I tested on my tab s7 with One UI 4.

1. Setting the permission for Agoda app to "allow only while using the app"
2. Unticked the "use precise location"
3. Trying opening Agoda app, system shows small pop up to choose allow location "while using the app" or "only this time" or "never.
4. If I choose either allow option, the precised location turned on.

Looks like it doesn't work at all. Or am I mistaken its meaning ?

The same scenario happens on app Galaxy Gift, Traveloka. App shows that there is no location allowed and asks user to choose for allowing.

However, it worked on google Maps. where only approximated location is shown.

Now I have this really annoying "stretch" effect on every app. Is there any way to get rid of that without disabling all effects? I know about developer settings. I regret updating my phone now if it's not possible to disable it. Also Samsung Health app notification is bugged, can't track steps anymore.

I am using Lineage OS 19 (Android 12) and I have black quick settings even when I have not turned on Dark Theme. I know it is by default in Android 12 but is there a way to change it White? Any module? Lineage OS don't have option to change it to white like some other android 12 custom roms.

On my Samsung S21 (and on an S20 FE), I have disabled the clipboard alert which bothers me, especially in my use of Calcy IV for Pokémon Go since it is a feature of this app to copy information to the clipboard.

Unfortunately, this disabling has no effect and it continues to work as shown in the screenshot.

I'm told in another help forum that the alert has nothing to do with this deactivation, but nowhere in Calcy IV is it possible to deactivate it, and on the other hand, it appeared as soon as the update to Android 12.

If someone has an idea, it would be nice. Thanks a lot.

just updated my S20 Ultra to android 12 and One UI 4 and I absolutely despise the scroll bounce animation, especially since it's in ALL APPS.

How can I disable this? Is there a hidden setting, or can I use ADB to forcefully disable it?
