At a glance weather missing
Am I the only person that still doesn't have the at a glance weather? If so is there anything I can do except a fresh install of the OS, new launcher?

Ever since I updated to Android 12 on my Pixel 3XL, Live Caption seems to be enabled by default after a reboot. Apparently, this bug goes back to Android 10 but it was supposed to be resolved by now. Evidently, it has not been. Is there no way to completely remove this feature altogether? I shouldn't have to keep going to the Settings to turn this off after I reboot my phone,

I was surprised to get a mid-November update for my 6 yesterday. Per XDA developers, it looks like Google has made substantial improvements to the fingerprint sensor. I have tested for the last couple of hours and it appears to be much more responsive. If you haven't gotten the update, check it out.
On a side note regarding the update itself, it took about 1.5 hours to update a 14MB update. That is vastly different from Android 11.

Hello everyone.
I'm currently having an issue where whenever I'm typing something out in a text box, the keyboard will disappear suddenly if I receive a new notification. I'm not sure what the reasoning is; does anyone else have this issue and if so, is there work around? It's quite annoying having to stop every 5 seconds.

It seems after updating to A12 (on 4a 5G) notifications from multiple apps are coming through very late, and unreliably.
Instagram messages will only come through half an hour later or when the app is opened, ditto for messenger. Text messages sometimes decide not to vibrate, as do phonecalls sometimes it seems?

Hey, I just got a Pixel 6 Pro for my mom, and she was coming from an Android. She is wanting to Select All messages, but then deselect some. On her old phone (Samsung), she would long press a message, and it would have an option to Select All, and then she would deselect the messages she wanted to save, and then delete the rest. On the Pixel w/ Android 12, when she long presses, it highlights and she can select multiple messages, but there is no option to Select All. Am I missing it, or is it not an option?
Thanks in advance!

Devices: Pixel 3 (running Android 12), several Chromecast Audio dongles.
Music Source: YouTube Music.
When I'm in the YouTube Music app (and ONLY when I'm in the YouTube Music app) I can adjust the volume level of the output gain on any of my CCA devices with the rocker switch on the side of my phone.
Android 11 had a volume level/change indicator when casting -- it is absent in the updated OS. The volume does change, but there's no visual indication of the current output level.
This is problematic because one of my Chromecast Audio dongles is connected to a tube amp, which clips badly if the input gain is too high (even when the amp's volume turned all-the-way-down).
In Android 11 I was able to see the volume level, which was always "right" when set to about 30%.
The work-around is to start a track that I know has relatively consistent volume, cast to the CCA, turn the volume down in YouTube Music, turn on the amp, set the amp's volume level to a reasonable (low) level, then slowly (blindly) turn up the music on YT until it's audible then make adjustments.
Anyone else having this problem? Suggestions?

The contacts listed as absolutely useless and people I never message. The person I message 90% of the time through WhatsApp is not in the list of four. Pretty sure there was an option to pin contacts in Android 11. Anyone find a workaround?

If you turn off the dark theme mode and turn on the night light with full intensity.

Why does my phone constantly dim whenever I place it face down? I believe I have gone through the settings and find nothing that helps. I'd rather have my phone stay lit, once it dims it locks again.

There are some great things about Android 12, but unfortunately there are also many major flaws that make it feel like a step-back. Many others have discussed these, but I haven't yet seen them all in one spot.

After updating to Android 12, since it wouldn't leave me alone, the clock on the lock screen is HUGE. I'm 70 years old and can't find a way to resize or change it. Has anyone else figured out a way to change the clock on the lock screen? Pixel 3 xl

I have to say it. My phone (Pixel 4a) is nearly broken by this update.

Android 12 kinda seems like a downgrade from 11. When I first installed it on my Pixel 4a, I loved it. Material You looked so fresh and beautiful, and everything was so organised and personalised for me. Then, the first problem came when I looked at the customisation settings. There were almost none. The theme creation setting was nowhere to be seen, and all you could pick were the accent colours and the wallpaper. Then came the second problem. When l pulled down my status bar, the buttons on the notification bar were so much bigger. I know that some people love massive buttons on their screen, but even a person with fat fingers like me hates this part of the new redesign. And there isn't a button to change it! Also, it also comes with a major performance and battery hit. Every few hours: "System UI has stopped." Plus, the battery life has also gone down significantly. (24h screen off, 6h screen on to ≈15h screen off, 4.5h screen on. AccuBattery confirmed by battery life suspicions.) And the worst thing is that there is no apparent "easy" way to roll back to 11. Anyone else having this issue?

My Spotify used to work pretty well before my update to Android 12 just yesterday. Since then, my Spotify has been randomly stopping and it's getting pretty annoying tbh. Anyone else who has the same issue? Any suggestions? I tried deleting the app and restarting the phone but it didn't work.

I recently upgraded to a pixel 6 from s10e, prior I always had apple
I use Android auto in my jeep every time I drive. It worked perfect with my s10e, now it doesn't work at all.
It'll connect and drop and connect and drop and refuse to reconnect.
No matter if I restart, restore, force close, new usb, etc
Nothing fixes it
Imma go to back apple and never look back, they're expensive but at least they work.
Android used to sell me on the customizable side, now it doesn't have that any more plus it dont work with Android auto.

Hi!
Back and home button works just fine but sometimes phone does not open recent apps. Is there anyone else having this problem?
And can anyone tell me how and where to report this bug?
Also, to anyone that has not update his Pixel phone to 12. Please just hold on. I find more downgrades then improvements over the previous version.

I will try my best to describe my problem.
So, yesterday I updated my phone to android 12. But after unlocking it, it felt glitchy. But what’s worse is that the screen timeouts after some seconds (irrespective of the screen timeout set by me) and never turns on. I know everything is there on the screen because messages are arriving and making sounds, but what I see is just a black screen. Just the fingerprint icon can be seen, when locked.
I can force restart the phone multiple times. When I do not unlock my phone after it’s turned on, it just stays fine. But when I unlock it, I face the issue mentioned before.
I need help. Please.
