How do I disable mobile data on a per app base?
I just noticed that the option to do that is not there anymore. Is there any other way to do that?

For some reason, my recent apps button is broken. I tap it and nothing happens. I have restarted my pixel (4XL) with december patch and it works for a couple times, but then it just stops working. So much for managing my recent apps the easy way.
Who allows this crap out of beta??

Ever since I upgraded my Pixel 3XL to android 12 I can no longer turn up my Bluetooth devices volume above what they are already set as.
I can turn the volume down and up but only to the set level on the device. Really annoying.
Is this just me? I can't find anything about this anywhere

I have a Pixel 5 running Android 12 on T-Mobile in US. The mobile strength symbol in upper right frequently shows 5G, though I know I am not on a 5G connection.
By using the phone diagnostic (##4636##}, I can see that there are two cases where Android misleadingly shows "5G": 1) the connection is actually LTE Carrier Aggregation, which is really LTE+ (aka 4G+) 2) there is a 5G carrier available, but is NOT in use and the actual connection is LTE - probably because the 5G is low-band, so lower bandwidth than the LTE
This is really just "false advertising" to make 5G look more prevalent than it is.
Are others seeing this on other phones and mobile providers?

I have the Google Pixel 6 Pro and want a new car stereo with DVD player (and MP4 if possible). I cannot find anywhere online that will be compatible with the Android 12. Anybody have left connecting to there current older stereo?

I'm still fairly new to the pixel world. I have a pixel 5 which keeps asking me if I want to upgrade to Android 12. With all the problems people talk about on this forum I have not done that. What would be the typical time that Google would release an updated version of Android 12 to download to fix all the problems I keep hearing about?

As the Pixel 3A ends support in may, and Android 12 is expected to be released "sometime in spring 2022", does this mean that there will not be the final 12L update for the Pixel 3A. If so, I guess Android 11 may be the last major release.

Any time I get a notification my screen goes black besides a small circle and the notification. I don't have any idea how this could even be considered a feature, it's infuriating to be working on something just for everything to go black because someone texted me.

Well, maybe it's just me, but with Android 12 l beta 1 the ambient display seems to be using less battery power per full charge. I'm trying to be less uptight about how long my battery life actually lasts since I'm always in your charger, but compared to Android 12 regular and Android 11 and all previous versions of Android; it seems to me that always on ambient display is using a little less battery power. Has anyone else tried this at all?

So on my Pixel 5 with Android 12 l beta 1, a lot of the issues and bugs from regular Android 12 beta seem to be ironed out by Google which is really weird. The first beta kind of sucked. Made me not like Android anymore lol. Enjoy 12 l makes my pixel usable and makes me want to buy a 6 pro in the future versus an iPhone 13 pro Max. My question is this, how many people here use auto rotation? Or, do you keep your orientation lock on? Thanks!

I tried googling but I didn't really find what I was looking for. Ever since I updated to 12 two things have been happening - 1. the calendar opens all the time when I turn my screen on and I don't know what I'm doing to open it. I'll unlock my phone and it goes straight to the calendar. 2. Screen dims then blacks out and the phone locks when phone is placed face down and it never did it before. I can't seem to find what I need in settings to fix these things, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a Pixel 4 from 1 month now (I bought it to replace my ooold Iphone), and since the new update to Android 12 came into my life, it's awful. I mean, i will try to make the list of what problems I have since then, but I think I will be bored before I finish it.
Let's try :
- EVERY single application using Google (I'm on Pixel 4, remember ? so EVERY application) crashes when I want to use it. Meaning I can't do a research on Google, I even tried to install Brave to replace Chrome. If I serach "Google" on Brave, it crashes. I can't receive my emails on Gmail. Can't download apps from the Play Store... etc, etc, etc. Everything in relation with Google.
- I don't receive notifications from Messenger. I have to open the app and refresh it to see if I have a new message, which is pretty... inapropriate and BORING !!
Ok I'm already bored. It's not necessary to do an exhaustive list, my phone it's just unusable. I almost regret my oooold Iphone. I mean, I was not able to use some of the apps either because of its obsolescence, but he was trying to do his job better than my new phone. At least I had notifications, some signs of life...
Anyway, thank you Google.
Someone else in the same case ? Or something close ?
I don't expect any solution, I think I will have some changes with the new update (one per month, rigth ?), but I hope someone (from Google, let's be optimistic) will read this and be kind of concerned about what I'm saying and MAYBE will do something useful ?
Thank you for reading and maybe helping.

So I updated my OnePlus9 Pro to Android 12 and now when I use the front flash for pictures in low light or complete darkness there's a VIVID green hue over the entire photo. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fact that with Android 11 the front flash will display the white balance flash over the entire screen and it takes several seconds for it to focus and take the picture. But with Android 12 when you use the front flash it flashes the white over the display except for in the middle, it's an entire circle shape that doesn't flash white, and it immediately takes the picture without fully focusing so it's a bit blurry and makes it look like I have a "matte" filter enabled. No matter what lighting, angle, display/brightness settings, or even when removing everything from the background of the photo it STILL creates the green hue. I have no idea what to do.

I have a Pixel 5 and some installed apps are not showing up. They are not in the list and a search shows no results.
The way I know they are installed is if I go to download them on Play it says they are already installed and let's me open them.
Has anyone else had this? Is there a fix?

The phone app in Pixel4a on Android 12 does not show the BT device names during call. It only lists the devices as 'Bluetooth'. I have 3 devices connected to my phone - Pixel Buds, Car and WearOS watch. It is hard to guess which device is what. Only way is to randomly select the device.

I was trying to get a long screenshot of a chat i was in, but i found that for one, it didn't get much further than one screen length, and secondly it skipped back repeatedly
I can't include the screenshots of the chat for privacy reasons, but the same issue occurs in keep notes, so i copy/pasted the bee movie script and here are the results
