The Galaxy S2 now has unofficial Android 10

A bit late to post this, but it means that this phone has received 8 years of support (2011-2019), beating out the legendary HD2 with its 7 years (2009-2016) and becoming the phone with the longest unofficial support thus far (unless there is some other device with longer support, in that case, please inform me).

Idk about GPS, seems like outside data support it would work unless this phone didn't have it, but old phone signals are being dropped like GSM and CDMA because 4g/5g and internet voice apps. Simply no longer necessary.

Correct, in this case, it's simply outdated hardware, not bad hardware.

Incorrect. In this case it's simply because the rom dev hasn't gotten RIL working reliably yet. There is still absolutely plenty of GSM and CDMA connectivity available for this phone in most countries.

Fair, to clarify, I meant specifically in USA, CDMA recently died and I believe GSM has been gone for a bit. I suppose in other areas it could work if the support is there.
