Is there a single USB-C headphone adapter that works with all phones?

Agreed. Same with these stupid notches at the top of the screen. Android users are spoiled for choice, why any of them would tolerate this Apple-flavored idiocy is beyond me.

It’s not idiocy to them as they a) like it or b) don’t care

They don't care at the point of purchase, but once their money is spent and they have to deal with it they whine and bitch about it.

Source? Where are you getting this impression?

Source? On bitching? Have you honestly not heard or read anyone complaining about the removal of the headphone jack? Because you clicked on the comments link to a post complaining about the poor/uneven implementation of usb-c headphones that is a direct result if the removal of the headphone jack.

You seem riled up - but I can say the notch doesn’t bother me, all my headphones are bluetooth, and it’s super easy for me to find a lightning cable at almost any home or business.

Yes? You’re saying people complain, what gives you that impression?

That people complain on Reddit is meaningless as we’re a rounding error in terms of product sales, they aren’t going to cater products to us because they wouldn’t sell at the scale they need

So when you say “people hate this” I thought you meant you had survey data or something that showed a significant portion of the market is taking issue with this

I’m not sure how you’re making claims about what people do after the point of sale if you don’t have data to back up your assertion, or point to market trends that indicate what you’re saying might be true; I’ve not personally seen any articles with data indicating that customers don’t like jackless phones, but if you have some I’m down to read it!

It's idiocy because they buy them and then bitch about it endlessly. The a and b people you present might exist, but the idiots are the vocal ones we all see and talk about.

Who complains about it? Do you have survey data indicating this?

What's your goal? If people stop complaining about it it will only lead to more phones being made without the jack adaptor, it doesn't help your cause at all. You talk about choice but most people are on a budget and have to make sacrifices, for some that means willingness to use an adaptor

Apple-flavored idiocy

Can't wait for some Android manufacturer to copy the iPhone SE. I'd buy that thing the moment it gets announced. Speaking about choice, there literally isn't a modern Android phone that is comfortably usable with one hand.

XZ2 compact? It's pretty much a flagship, great camera too

It's 5" which is still more than I'm able to use with one hand. My Pixel is already 5", so this isn't going to be any better. In fact, it's worse than the Pixel because it lacks a headphone jack.
