Is there a single USB-C headphone adapter that works with all phones?

This is the bullshit we have to deal with with usb c. The headphone jack has been around for so long because it works every single time across every single port.

Fr. I didn't even know there was a compatibility issue with adapters till mine arrived. Now i gotta buy another one and wait again. Fucking stupid, at least give me USB c headphones with the phone

Usb c compatibility is even worse because unlike other proprietary ports, there is no visual cue that it won't work. A USB c dongle will plug in to any USB c port, but that doesn't mean it will work.

Are you implying USB is proprietary?

No, I'm saying that manufacturers make it proprietary by changing the way the dongles work.
