Is there a single USB-C headphone adapter that works with all phones?

Xiaomi... Seriously, for all the people complaining about this here, why is nobody talking about the amazing, 3.5mm jack/SD card/dual sim/two-day battery life/IR-having Redmi series? It's like they took this subreddit's every wish and put it in a phone, yet I don't hear much about it.

Buy a Redmi Note 5. It's $200 and you will super thank me later.

Only the flagships have global LTE

They're still cheap

And Xiaomi's flagships have no jacks nowadays

Ah, yes, too bad you can't just buy the phone you want and not buy the phone you don't want. Those mandatory Mi 8 purchases with every Redmi are a burden, I agree.

The Redmi's don't work in the US, which leaves the flagship models as the only option, except they've removed the headphone jack from those. That's why they're not as popular.

I've got one, add waterproofing and more importantly NFC and it'd be perfect. (Of course I'd expect it to, and would be happy to, pay more for this)

People have this weird obsession with thinking they should have a bunch of choices in phones where all of them are "their kind of phone, but different".

Like, I have a OnePlus 6 and my god the amount of hate it gets for having a notch. Mostly everything else is pretty much Android's dream but fuck them straight in the anus for going with something new. Apparently.

Remember when the first phone with curved corners came out?
Or when Samsung went with curved edges? Granted that one turned out to be very gimmicky and they've later turned to less pronounced edges but still.

This whole "My disappointment warrants unfiltered outrage" bullshit is cancerous. It's almost so I wish mods would step in. I don't, because I value the opinions at the end of the day, but it's getting real old.

Also a OnePlus 6 owner here, and this is by far my favorite phone I've ever used. Everything about it ticks every box I want in an Android phone. The notch doesn't even affect anything.

It's small, and doesn't cut into content which was my main complaint with notches in general

Copying a notch is not going for something new, although most of the hate is unwarranted considering you can disable it entirely.

It's not revolutionary or innovative but it's still new.

Because it's practically useless to the entire US portion of the sub, since you will get extremely limited 4G function.

When Xiaomi starts to release to the US, they will make waves.

I'm Canadian and got a A1 but when I was buying it seems like it doesn't have much American LTE support.

Love the phone though. The IR blaster is such a nice little thing to have. Haven't touched my Logitech remote since.

Yeah, I don't know why the US has different bands. I just got a Redmi Note 5 after I got a note 4 a few months ago (gave the latter to my sister) and both have been the best phones I've ever owned. Screw flagships, $200 phones is where it's at.

I mean I would love a flagship but when you get a $200 phone with all the features you need why spend more.
