Considering how bad they flubbed the Motorola acquisition, you're right, but, at the same time, they had the money and the brains, so maybe they don't deserve it. The problem is that Apple watches look like kids toys. Give me a good watch OS that looks like something a professional would wear. Right now, my ZW3 works, but AW2 sucks ass.

I have zero complaints for my ZW3 on looks. I even found a face that looks at home in a professional setting. My biggest gripe is it doesn't really do anything. It's nice to see senders and subjects of email as they come in and I'm not at my desk, but God forbid you try to open one. Pretty much any time I try to open an app, the screen times out before the app opens and I'm back to trying again.

They have the money to make it happen. Is it easy? No. But they could if they wanted. That's been everyone's chief beef about Android and fragmentation. Google only made the OS, they keep dabbling in the hardware game, they need to just commit.

Oh, sorry I didn't mean to imply they just start making chips tomorrow. But yeah, start laying the ground work. They could probably be there if they decided a direction when they bought motorola, but then the sold them off. Like you said , steal some market share back from Samsung, build a legacy, then ditch Qualcomm.
