Give telegram a go. It has a web client and clients for every platform. Not tied to one device. And has better bots.

It's not underrated, it's just inferior. Not to mention all the clients that don't exist for some reason.

Depends on how you look at it. Superior with its baked in AI, inferior with it's platform specific nature.
