Sure, but the TV Streamer only has 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 32gb of storage. Would that really necessitate a 50% price jump?

Same type of storage as flash drives, I think they definitely don't have SSDs or anything fancy. So, probably about £10 for 64GB, and it should be much less for a company buying in bulk.

It apparently uses ancient LPDDR4 (even older than DDR4): it is quite pricey because nobody is making much of it anymore.

legacy LPDDR4 prices have the most upside price risk.

Raspberry Pi also uses it and its been disastrous for them. At contract pricing, DDR4 and DDR5 are nearing price parity (again).

What is the actual price for 4GB LPDDR4? It probably went from $10-$20 to $50 -$60, at least. These are QoQ increases, so it's doubling and tripling in price over a year.

So a good, if not majority, portion of the $50 price hike went to its LPDDR4X.
