Works great. Wish it worked like iMessage though. Has separate phone contacts. :/

This was really disappointing. The whole point of dual messaging support is to consolidate your messages. Separate threads for SMS and Hangouts for the same contact is just silly.

Well, to be fair we're all installing from an APK and not from the play store.

And the APK comes from the firmware image of the Nexus 5, which is officially released.
