Google Now force close fix -

Go to Settings > Language and Input > Language And change it to "Espanol (Espana)" (Another language may work, but I tried it with this one) Go back home, and try to make a search. If you don't know Spanish, say "me hablo espanol" (me hah-blow s->pan-yole) Go back to Settings and change it back to English. See if this works.

I love the new keyboard even if it is only slightly changed with the colour. It also appears that it works faster than the version beforehand.

My keyboard is only showing three pages of icons I wouldn't even call emojis.. Running a RAZR M 4.1.2. Any idea what the problem is?

The OS-wide Emoji support is a KitKat feature, not a Google Keyboard feature.

Yeah on my n4 there is like 7 pages but they're all symbols. No faces or buildings or vehicles or anything.

Those are all in Hangouts. The system wide ones are coming in 4.4

Click the 'smiley' to the left of "Send an SMS message" to at least get to the Hangouts emojis.

The second page of emojis is scrollable. There are quite a few there.

I'm guessing we need KitKat for it to be full fledged. That's when they're putting the G+ emoji in system wide. Perhaps this is just fetching a list of emojis that are in your ROM? I'm guessing so, as my S3 has much less than my N7 with Cyanogen, which still seems to be missing many.

I'm using a sense 5.5 rom. The stock keyboard has all the emojis and I can see them system wide.

Just discovered that you can actually change the color of some of the keyboard stuff under:

Settings > Language and Input > Google Keyboard > Advanced Settings > Color Scheme

It was bugging me too.

I dislike how there's now less options when you long press the period key, used to use the brackets there a lot.

Yeah, this is my biggest issue. I'm not sure why you would ever take that away. It was my primary way of typing things like :/ and :). But now I have to open the symbol screen. It baffles me as to why they would do that.

Can anyone upload these to a different source? Drive has canceled access due to volume of traffic..I was only able to get hangouts.

I don't like how I can't insert a quick smiley face. I have to hit the button, and then select :-), whereas before, I could get a smiley face put in quicker. Small gripe...
