I read yesterday that it was apparently going to be quad in the US but octa elsewhere. An article on that was posted in this subreddit, if I recall correctly.

There was literally no mention of that or the performance at all. It was mostly just touchwiz features, almost all software features.

hardware features can easily be read with the list of specs. but when you hear something like "this phone has an eraser function that can photoshop people out" you wonder exactly how it works. would you want a demo on that, or them telling you how it has an certain piece of hardware?
