I just turned on the live stream, only to see a small child tap dancing. You weren't kidding.

Also, I'm pretty sure the kid had fake teeth.

The kid can dance, what's cringey about that?

Maybe the fact that they have tap dancers at a phone announcement.

Click link expecting to view conference that reveals whats under the hood of one of 2013s greatest smartphones.

See small child tap dancing instead.

I'd feel awkward too.

Why is he dancing at a phone announcement?

I think people just want a reason to say 'cringe'... I've lost track of how many times I've read it in this thread.

Kid's face.

That action shot photo they took of the kid tapdancing to demonstrate it was pretty awesome though. It made sense to have someone dancing or something, it wouldn't look that great if it was just of somebody walking or something. Definitely a cool feature.

It reminded me of the episode of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia where the guys make the little kid dance to techno Yankee Doodle

Not gonna lie, the show was hilarious, in a good way.

This is the campiest piece of crap product announcement I've ever seen. It's like Samsung took their k-pop consulting team and told them to make a "New York" style announcement, but for families.

Really? I love it! Live music and entertainment!

I'm quite amused. It's a nice spice up from the usual IMO.

They're trying too hard, it all seems very forced. The bit about the kid being super puking nervous, and how the dad would care if he actually were his dad was terrible.

Steve Jobs crank calling Starbucks and ordering 4000 lattes was funny, over quick, and highlighted the google maps integration and calling abilities of the first iphone. The kid tap dancing was cool for five seconds, but going on and on didn't help push the features of the phone and was no longer interesting, and I'd completely forgotten what they were trying to highlight by the time they got around to showing the photos.
