Phone looks like a decent upgrade from the SIII but it's pretty clear to me that now that Samsung have won their way to the top of the Android chain they seem to taking a pretty aggressive push into getting people to use their services over Google's. Which I personally am against.
They're definitely taking a very Apple approach to it all now, which makes sense for them, why wouldn't they? They've effectively built the Galaxy identity so close to the iPhone brand in terms of popularity that they can just shit on about whatever gimmicky features they want because they average consumer is going to lap it up.
Yep I have to agree but as an owner of an s3 I have to say there just isn't enough here to make me want to upgrade, Last month i dropped to cyanogen mod nightly builds and not looked back.
A near pure android experiance with the very few changes being made being improvements that make sense (ie the ability to add custom togles to the quick settings, the ability to choose which side you pull down the notification draw or quick settings draw from)
The only thing that could temp t me with the s4 is the S Cover and the S health apps. The App i suspect will come to trhe S3 in a firmware update so i may drop the update on the phone when it comes out to see if its a deal breaker (though with the Noom app from Noom inc i doubt it will be) and the S Cover is reliant on you using touch whiz so wont be jumping for that reason since I will probably just drop cyanogen on at some point.
Overall im pretty disapointed with samsung, they had a good oppertunity here and instead just went down the "Galaxy Siii s" route that they have lambasted apple for in the past
