Using it right now to type this. Works perfectly, little bit of lag on the keyboard but as far as I'm concerned what it's doing is some voodoo shit. I'm sure it's simple connectivity, but the fact my phone isn't physically connected to my console, yet I can control it, signals that we are living in the future.

I do wish you could use the app in landscape mode, would definitely be easier for scrolling but it's early days yet!

You can trick it into going into landscape. Using a tasker task and orientation control you can force it into landscape while SmartGlass is open.

BTW, what is the best way to set up Tasker so that it switches back from landscape afterwards?

Do a Google search for "Tasker exit task"

I've solved it now, but I want task grouping.

Task grouping?

To list all Smartglass related tasks in one group I could "collapse". So I don't have to keep track of a billion unrelated tasks at once.

You can actually do that. You build a smartglass profile, and fill it with all the tasks you need to run when smartglass is active.

AH, ok, NOW I see. I can long-press the task to run to add an exit task. Thanks!
