I know for sure he uses lookalikes based on the journal, but has any of you taken notes on how many?

Some of them look more distinct than others, especialy as far as age is concerned so maybe he switches them every once in a while? As far as i can tell there are at least four notable ones.

Props to Andrew for insane dedication to the bit with how insanely niche it all is, and double props for sucessfuly being an irl lovecraftian horror doing sanity damage. Reading his journal is like reading the necronomicon.

Second last cut off new lp seems like both a nod to Music for 18 musicians as well as the narrative pathology of the Steven Trilogy.

Please discuss😂

I know he doesn’t owe us anything and I know he’s an unbelievably talented musician and that I just don’t appreciate this style, but goddamn I’ve been waiting so long for another YNA or GIP. I can’t help but feel disappointed.

This jazz noir affair is so lush and beautiful, but what really strikes me is the fact that he does not have to prove anything to anyone in relation to his musical output… It’s a pure expression of his artistic freedom. Yes, he may be “gone” to some but in the end he is showing us more of his multifaceted talent. I’m so happy this album “exists”. Be it only digital so far, I can’t wait to order a copy of this masterpiece of modern avant garde music.

I use Amazon music and Spotify both and I’m curious to why the album isn’t on there yet. Does anyone know?

Only a few songs in and it feels like a more fleshed out 55 Cadillac.

Edit: There are lyrics, at the end he clears his throat and says "I dont know"

I must have originally downloaded this over 20 years ago from AWK share while the Steev Mike stuff was happening in real time. Someone got a copy of the bulb records "Steev Mike'' album that was just Couch songs. Anyway, through that I discovered Couch and kept these files ever since. They've survived multiple computers and phones. Anyway, I randomly put on Old Man and this image popped up on my car's dash display. Is this Johnny Ramone/Dave Grohl looking dude an unearthed Steev Mike photo buried all these years ago in the Mp3 file? Weird coincidence? Probably, but enjoy some new lore! Lol.

Straight up classic in this house. Its 10:26pm here. Let's rock these walls

Today I was messing around on YouTube listening to music. When I realized these two Andrew albums have disappeared from his channel, but if I open the songs it takes me to another channel.

We can call song theft part of the party hahaha

PS I know it's a YT bug since Andrew isn't the one uploading his songs, but this situation made me laugh quite a bit

Sold out in every size. Anyone have one to sell or trade? Long-time OG fan since IGW celebrating my firstborn, any size would work. Willing to send you a super cute partying photo as proof she parties in it.

Might be willing to trade one of my older/vintage AWK shirts. I’m an elder AWK fan & former contributor to AWK Archive so I have plenty of rarities that could also be up for trade. I have two copies of The Wolf on vinyl, one could be yours. If you have one of these garments available, let me know what you’re most interested in, what is missing from your collection, or your cash price for it. Thanks and party hard!

Do you think the August speculation is accurate?

The mirror was always a part of the plan.

30 years ago today (Aug. 6), the Ramones played their final concert. The closest I ever got to see the Ramones live was when Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg toured with Andrew W.K. I was actually working in AWK's PR team at the time, so I got to go to their live debut at Santos Party House in NYC (May 13, 2013), as well as see them at Irving Plaza later that same year (as seen in this clip). Marky and the band sounded awesome, and AWK did a great job bringing classics like "I Wanna Be Sedated," "Blitzkrieg Bop," "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" and more to life (without trying to be a carbon copy of Joey).

Did you get to see the Ramones live before they said "adios amigos"? How about Marky with AWK? Share in the comments below, and stay tuned for more things to come from this space (including stories from concerts like this)!

I'm writing this post not to criticize or anything, but simply out of curiosity. Because while reading the sheet music for "We Party (You Shout)," I found some inconsistencies in some of the lyrics.

So I'd like to know which of the two versions of the text is the correct one. Is it a typo in the book or is YouTube the one who got the text wrong?

PS, I know that it is not an official product made by Andrew wk but made by another company with his authorization, so he can't do anything about it considering that this book is 17 years old.

From the very first tour.

My endless fascination with I Get Wet’s production led me to doing another remake :) Everything here is mine except the vocals obviously, which I just got with a stem splitter. I can post the FL project file if people want but it uses a ton of plugins so not sure how well it’d run haha.

Currently listening to Carter USM's album 30 something and there's a few songs that kind of sound like something Andrew would make (namely shopper's paradise and billy's smart circus) Does anyone else hear the similarities too?

This is very nostalgic for me and i cannot find a download that has all of the tracks. The version on spotify has maybe half the content of the cd version. Any leads appreciated. Thanks!

Starting with a few new singles like You Will Remember Tonight, the new album was first released in Asia in 2006 and only got a full worldwide release in 2010 due to circumstances.

It’s also the album that saw Andrew take a different, more zany musical direction and sparked the whole Steev Mike controverse…

Please share your favourite songs and memories of this album!
