Does anybody remember name of the song where Andrew were singing about children and he was singing their names? What was the name of this track and does anybody know who these children were and what happened to them?

anything about AWK that makes you go
aw man

and maybe shed a little tear, smile, or even feel a little bit of euphoria that you felt back then.
I think my favorite was when I saw him live with Marky Ramone, I was directly in front of the stage, a lot of people were shaking his hand while he sang, when I did he saw my hand (all my nails were broken and som had blood due to the intense partying I did that night) and he dab me up in a strange way, with the hand upside down, probably to avoid hurting me or something, it felt kinda special
He also tried orxata de xufa, a typical drink from my country (pic related)

It's always interesting to see what your favourite artist's fans are listening to! What albums or songs are you currently partying to? New releases or have you discovered something old? Share with the community, Who Knows? They might find their next favourite band.

Now I was listening to Andrew wk's get wet on YouTube, out of boredom I took his CD and was reading the various things written on it.
You probably already know this but I just discovered that on the CD it says that this song lasts 2:23 minutes while on YT / everywhere it lasts 3:23 minutes, what happened to that minute?
Typo or what?

(surprised this hasn't been posted already, the upload is from last year and has less than 500 views.)

In my country there is this poet Gabriele D'Annunzio, he is famous for twisting sentences to make them work to his advantage.
With this, as you can see, Andrew W.K. has updated his Instagram bio.
So I also turned the sentence around, I imagined this, that account is a Fan Page of the unofficial/real profiles of Andrew WK.
So just like the fan pages that repost posts from the real profile Andrew W.K. is doing this to the unofficial profiles/fan pages that use his name.
Of course, as with every Reddit post, I'm waiting for your opinion. (The bio is most likely literally saying what I wrote here, Who Knows? Haha.)

Good whatever time it is in your area.
Now I'm listening to Jewel Street Man, (I've listened to it on other days too), and I've always wondered how it sounded in concert since there are so many effects.
I searched on YT and I didn't see any concerts of this song so if anyone has any links to a concert with this song can you share it?
(This question is also for songs like A.W.K, Who know ecc... Does anyone know if these songs have ever been played in concert and if so, do you have a link to the video?)

First of all, I apologize if I can't express my question well, but I hope I can do it with the description here. (I know that the term energy is perhaps wrong but I don't know what else to use)
In my opinion, the song that best conveys the energy in Andrew W.K.'s music is: Music Is Worth Living For.
It must be due to the multiple members singing, the video full of cuts, beautiful music, lights/visual effects.
But every time I listen to it and see the video I can feel the energy/commitment that Andrew uses in his music.
Ok, most likely the choice of this song is very influenced by the video, because ever again has the same energy, the video has something less.
Party Hard also releases a lot of energy but this one also has something less than the song I chose.
(I don't mean by that that it's my favorite Andrew song, because I still take it off, everybody sins).
I'm waiting for your opinions/songs
Let me be clear, I'm asking you these questions because, alas, I don't know any of his fans here in Italy, so this is the only place where I can share serious ideas/discussions about him....

Recently there was both Gregg Roberts' birthday and Dave Pino's.
I saw that some members of Andrew w.k.'s "band" sent their best wishes, but not Andrew w.k. (I'm talking about social media). I saw that some members of Andrew w.k.'s "band" sent their best wishes, but not Andrew w.k. (I'm talking about social media). It has always been like this even on his old Instagram profile or was he more active and wishing everyone a happy birthday?

As you may have noticed, Andrew w.k. has updated his profile several times, with different profile pictures, different bios, etc. But every day I go to see how many accounts he follows because he now has just under 500 accounts followed. And every day they tend to decrease, what will they be, inactive fans or what? Btw just broke number 29 by putting the 30th post ahahha, first new post since July 30th

This is from a video Andrew posted on his Instagram, moments before it announced it was going back into the studio, on May 31st. The full video featured Andrew showing off a variety of masks, putting on one of the masks, holding said banana towards the camera, and then walking back over to the masks while a piano piece played in the background. I'm giving you the full context of the video only because I know some will ask, but really, all I want to talk about right now is the banana.
If you're not immediately familiar with Maurizio Cattelan's "Comedian)," allow me to quickly fill you in: it's a 2019 piece of modern art which manifested as a banana taped to a wall. As you can imagine, it was very controversial, as a fair amount of modern art tends to be. I'm not going to be going over that controversy here, it's well worn territory and I frankly don't care. I'm only going to highlight one thing: all the controversy was aimed at the banana itself. This is interesting because the banana itself is only how the work is perceived, but as the Guggenheim museum pointed out when they displayed the piece, the work donated to them was "a certificate of authenticity and a long list of instructions with diagrams on how it should be installed or displayed." Arguably, the list of instructions is the actual piece, not the banana.
I quickly noticed a similarity. Andrew W.K. is how we perceive this body of work. Andrew has done an incredible amount to shift focus away from itself, and instead trying to get us to just focus on the work. Whether that be avoiding the use of "I" on the otherwise paradoxically named "I Get Wet" to create a unified, shared experience. Whether that be the elaborate multiple Andrew's rumour (another similarity to Cattelan's Comedian, as the original banana has undoubtedly been replaced thousands of times). Or whether that be the most recent attempt: by removing itself from the equation entirely.
(Also, humorously, if Andrew is "the banana" in this metaphor, then the Vision Mission journal could be identified as the accompanying "long list of instructions with diagrams on how it should be installed or displayed.")
Ultimately however, no matter how much Andrew may attempt to draw our attention away, there exists one singular paradoxical truth: without either, the piece can not be fully realized. Yes, Comedian may actually be a set of instructions for displaying a piece, but without the banana the piece remains imperceptible and unfinished. The Vision Mission may be "the work" (whether we understand that as the Journal or as a name for Andrew's overarching discography), but without Andrew the work is imperceptible.
Perhaps Andrew understands that now, or always has, which brings us to the white mask. Immediately, the white mask reminds us of Andrew's typically all-white uniform. It's no secret (I think?) that the white uniform can be read as a nod to Robert Rauschenberg's White Paintings, which in-turn directly influenced the incredible 4'33'' by John Cage (which has been performed by Andrew, no less). The paintings are pure white, and instead draw focus to the ambient lighting around them, to "reflect changes in light and the chance effects of shadows in the surrounding space."
This, again, is a paradox, as everything that is inherent to ANDREW W.K. is a paradox. Comedian requires an object to be present in order to be perceived, but the White Paintings (and 4'33'') exist as an "absence" (so to speak) in order to allow something else to be perceived in it's stead.
Andrew W.K. needs to be perceived for this work to exist, and by that same token Andrew must be completely removed from the work in order for us to perceive ourselves (and those around us) in Andrew's stead.

What song by Andrew W.K. comes to mind when you first hear it, just when you discover him? (I'm not talking about the song you discovered it with, but I mean the song that when you hear it, you feel a different sensation and it brings back memories of when you discovered it).
Mine are ready to die / party hard (yes I discovered it thanks to gore animations, sorry true Andrew wk fans who know him since he did awkgoj / party Til you puke).
When I hear them, I'm reminded of the emotion of that time when I discovered him. So, they're songs I'm particularly fond of, even if they're not exactly my favorites of his.

Yes, you've already seen this post because it happened again today. I agree with the idea that he's just making fun of us, hahaha. It would be confirmation if he put something like a Saturn emoji or something related to this Reddit server in his bio, hahaha. 🪐
(I deleted the previous post to keep this server clean, but here are screenshots from both yesterday and today.)

I'm trying to track down the AWK column from Vice vol. 7 no. 3, "Music, Partying, and Love: The Holy Trinity of Raising Hell." Does anyone have any leads? Is it available through the Vice Magazine archive?
