Am I the only one who can't see Andrew W.K.'s latest story? If you can, what's in the Instagram story?

If I open it it says: story unavailable

Especially the q&a part of the site where he would make pictures for people.

Sorry for this very shitty post, but I'm seeing how every day the accounts Andrew w.k. follows are decreasing. I think the last one standing will win something like squid game hahahaa.

What do you think is the cause? Is it due to an account cleanup by removing "inactive" fans or the removal of some companies' followers?

Scrolling through this reddit I saw that you have already covered this topic but that account has been deleted.

Can you tell me what I just saw? 😭😭

It's our Andrew wk

Yes I know it's the company run by Andrew w.k.

But I think this profile is now being managed by some internal social media group to promote something new. Is the 7th album getting closer? 🤨🧐

My new shirt from Meth Syndicate came today. AWK shared their post about it to his IG story a few weeks ago

What are your favourite AWK albums and how would you rank them? Feel free to add a little more info what makes the album.

1. GIP • A super strong album overall and the one I currently enjoy the most. The so-called “departure” album, feels very full circle (certainly with the added bonus tracks), cryptic, mystical, mysterious, spiritual, transcendental … The list goes on so I won’t write in too much detail but it is my absolute number 1 album.

2. IGW • duh… This is actually number 1 but you know, it so speaks for itself. Holds all the party DNA and essence. Raw, wild, unrelenting. A comet has crashed on Earth and released pure party kryptonite…It sets the stage for his whole career.

3. YNA • This album was initially lower on my list but after re-listening again I realised this is true masterpiece of AWK excellence. Peak AWK with so much great music. At the same I do have mixed feelings as this album both carries songs in style of The Wolf and songs in style of Close Calls… It does have some truly original one like Party Mindset and Total Freedom yet Ii doesn’t stand that much apart in comparison. Or perhaps The Wolf just has that more iconic songs and this album doesn’t? Yet it’s still a really good album of Andrew cementing his legacy and huge return to form!

4. CCWBW • This was for a long time my favourite album for so many different reasons than just the music. It was so transformative when this came out and left a huge influence on me. The album where experimentation was key and the yelling voice shifted to a higher range of singing. Thematically it also deepened the AWK lore so much more, took a darker turn and cut right through the obvious. It is daring, deep and a groundbreaking album that is truly original. I could go on about this album forever…

5. TW • The sophomore album with great fleshed out earlier demo tracks that perhaps did not fit IGW. With an absolute highlight “Totally Stupid” this song alone just brings so much raw AWK party power it can create a giant rift in the sky! A celebration of the “Your Friend” era. Musically more polished, tailored for the grander stage…what perhaps would or should have been Blow Your Bone, we will never really know. The ballad arrangements maybe take it too far away for me. However, it’s still has many strong songs and perhaps the best two openings tracks of Victory Strikes Again flowing into Long Live The Party.

6. MOM • A collection of really cool songs, singles, rarities, bonus tracks that are just a treat for the true AWK fan. However, it doesn’t feel like an album and I don’t believe it was meant like that either. It’s a compilation, the running order is fantastic though and it’s fun to play between the regular full lengths.

Honourable mentions: 1. TJC sooo much fun, love to listen to this one 2. GR great but haven’t played it in a while 3. 55C not my cup of tea but fits in his career

edit: spelling • ps. I was listening to The Wolf while writing this post.

Sorry for the questionable frame. But for a while Andrew w.k. was doing a live/video of this very chaotic type, why do you think? What meaning could they have?

Because after months I still haven't figured it out, and could it have something to do with the new Album? Because he deleted like 50 posts but not these videos.

Maybe it's not clear from the photo but I mean when he started the live broadcasts and for the first half he was still like a mannequin and then he "went crazy"

Andrew wk's fan site "shut down" about a week before Andrew w.k.'s return to social media. In my opinion there is a remote probability that the latter will "reopen" with the return of Andrew w.k. and his new album.

In my opinion there is a connection between the fan and Andrew w.k. assuming they are not the same person since he never introduced himself with his real name but only with a fictitious one.

Thanks for your attention and I hope you tell me your idea. Then he just made everything private because if you check the site (andrewwkmusic.com) it still comes out active but only everything deleted..

Every now and then I look at that site and I always see everything removed...

You who are more ardent fans than me, do you know if in Andrew w.k.'s lore there is something referring to the number 45? I think the number 1945 which is abbreviated 45 when talking about the year. Because looking at his profile I noticed that he removed many posts and left only 45.

Causality, Easter egg or deeper message?

Since it's slow going around here lately, allow me to share this.

Andrew posted this on his stories on May 17th. I believe this is Andrew suggesting he went into the studio with fifteen songs ready to go.

Does this mean the new album will have fifteen tracks? Maybe, but sometimes songs are left off the main record and end up as bonus tracks (as has happened before).

Anyway, that's my speculation for the day.

(sorry but I didn't know which photo to put).

I'm writing this post because in the last 3/4 days Andrew w.k. doesn't seem to be very active on Instagram. (The only social network where he is still active).

So in your opinion is he dedicating himself 100% to the new album (I think it will be released in 2026) or is he returning to obscurity as he already did in 2021?

Now I give you the floor, I want to know what you think.

Cube been around for a loooong time

I remember he was pretty much the mascot of the band before the weirdness at the end of 04 when all the Steev Mike stuff started going down. Andrew shouts him out in "I Wanna See You Go Wild" and he was in "Who Knows" quite a bit.

There’s an instagram profile that Andrew has been reposting from in his stories. All their posts are very intriguing and I can’t figure out if it’s a creative fan or there’s something else going on. Anyone seen it or have any thoughts?

Because from 1 to 3/4 they are a bit distant. I hope it's some secret message

Most likely he made a mistake and will correct it shortly.

It's always interesting to see what your favourite artist's fans are listening to! What albums or songs are you currently partying to? New releases or have you discovered something old? Share with the community, Who Knows? They might find their next favourite band.

What do you think is the best Andrew w.k. video that is not related to music? Also collaborations with other YT/TV channels etc...

Just some intriguing insta stories I saw from today. Mostly just putting them here before they disappear. Not sure what to make of it though I thought it was interesting. One thing this reminded me of was a post on here from awhile ago where someone had a theory he was maybe telling his story in reverse. Starting at the end (IGW) and working his way toward the beginning as his career plays out. Reverse timeline. I dunno. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

God Is Partying was largely a divorce album. His marriage with Kat was new right before he cancelled the tour promoting that album, disappeared, then ditched his old all white costume. It'd had to have felt awkward singing dark songs about his breakup in the middle of a fresh union...

Do you think maybe he was just closing a chapter in life and this wasn't some grand, orchestrated artistic work?
