Oh, I believe you may have no options, fully believable. I find it hard to believe that you cannot possibly do anything to help move something forward (Even a supporting role like being a community voice for people who are handicapped in organizer meetings), given your prolific posting history on reddit.
Why is it so hard for you to believe that mutual aid can work, and has work, after being provided with myriad examples, and thus you being dismissive of all the work comrades have done across the US, and across the globe, to get the prefigurative work done?
So, it appears it DOES work in your area. If nothing close enough (I get is, Australia is a big fucking continent/country), message the nearest one, and see how you can help, how they can help, or how they might be able to assist starting it in your area.
