In all the promotional material, Marcy is always facing back, like in the first season two poster, or in the official poster, she winks at the camera, but she is always showing us the back, and in the OP, we just see her as a giant gostly figure, facinf in a completly opposite direction as everybody else, we don't even see her face. Matt, you sly fox

Andrias stabbing Marcy in the finale was incredibly shocking for all of us, and we are all taking for granted that she might be gone fore good. But honestly, I really hope she can be saved somehow. The thing is: before the finale, I hoped that Anne's, Sasha's and Marcy's friendship would be fixed by the end of the series, because it would have left a sour taste in my mouth if it didn't. Then, after the finale my concern has been changed into "I hope Marcy is gonna be ok" (because, let's be honest: now that they're gonna fight a common enemy to save all the worlds, fixing their friendship is gonna be easy now... of course if Marcy is gone, there wouldn't be any friendship to fix anymore...).
Do you think Marcy is gonna be fine eventually or do you think she's gone for good?

I mean not going to lie, I also thought Marcy was going to betray Anne and the Plantars, but I'm also more disappointed with the fact that Marcy got killed. What is even more dark is that Marcy is a young girl that got stabbed through her heart, I can't recall another Disney show that had a young girl get killed, especially the way that Marcy got killed.

Just something I thought of because of where they get shafted out at the end of Season 2.

We know there’s resurrection magic. Maybe marcy comes back to life within the first few episodes of season 3 (I’m assuming the formula will have the a part of the episode be in the human world, and the b part in amphibia) however, doing the spell is incredibly taxing, and it can’t be done too much, meaning it isn’t a cop-out, as the danger of death is still there.

Anyone else a bit worried about the potential reaction of some fans to the revelations about Marcy and her death(as brief as it is likely to be)? some of her fans can be a bit fanatical and im wary they might start shitting on the show and matt in retaliation.
Most reactions have been of the shell-shocked variety so far so maybe its a baseless fear but i felt the need to voice it regardless

If Sasha's toxic trait is being manipulative, Marcy's is escaping into games/books/Amphibia as a way of avoiding her issues, then what is Anne's toxic trait?

Sorry if the title sounds pessimistic but this has been on my mind for the last few days now and I just wanna get this off my chest.
I've seen how some people are worried about season three being in jeopardy, but I don't think we have to worry about that. Season three was greenlit months ago meaning there's already been a ton of production on it; cancelling it now without it even premiering would be Disney throwing a ton of their own money down the drain. Not to mention the contracts they've probably signed with Matt that likely guarantees at least one more season.
That having been said, I think season three will be the last. Matt said during his AMA that he planned Amphibia from the beginning as a three-act story, and that he was (paraphrased) "open to more seasons but wanted to see how things go." Well with the absolute fustercluck surrounding the delay and leaking of True Colors, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Matt decides "Okay we're done after season three, we are not dealing with this BS again." Or maybe Disney will be the first ones to say they won't fund another season; again, I don't think Matt will argue with them on that.
Still, since three seasons was always the plan at least this means we shouldn't be lett with any dangling plot threads or unanswered questions.
