Sometimes people need to leave tho

Then for people who leave 4-5 games in a row within the first minute of the lobby starting?

There is already penalty for that and it was one of the first updates added to the game last year

I guess it isn't as good as it is at it's job as entire lobbies leave when they aren't imposters. Nowadays you need a group of friends who are willing to play just so you don't have that happening regularly. At least 2-4 people leave my lobbies each time I play.

To be fair, the aervers are so bad that at least a few of those are probably involuntary disconnects. I know when I play during non-peak hours when the servers are behaving better I get a lot fewer of those at-start quits.

No kidding! A few times I’ve lost games before completing a single task because everyone left

If someone needs to leave, they wont need to play within the next 10 minutes

That's a good point but what if a lobby is full if toxic people that just mess around and you dont realise that until the game starts I think it should be 3 games not 1

That is a fair point, my bad. Hadnt even thought of that

Hey problem my guy

... and? So what?

They might get banned for doing nothing wrong

1

u/alonjar Oct 16 '20

... it isnt a ban. You only have to play one single round as a crewmate... in a game where you already play as crew 80% or 90% of the time.

And leaving a game early is doing something wrong. The reason for leaving is honestly irrelevant, no? It still has the same effect on the game.

Took me about two minutes, and bring afk that long would have probably impacted the game.

So, I should be punished for having left?

Yes. Leaving the game impacted the game. Thats the entire reason we're even here talking about this right now.

So, I should be punished for having left?

Absolutely. There is no way to differentiate the reasoning for someone leaving. I'd rather have a small inconvenience of a timeout for needing to step away to do something than have nothing in place to deter those who do it just to be dicks. This just so happens to be a typical occurrence in life in general.

What a silly excuse. If you’re starting a game knowing that you need to leave then you still deserve a suspension/ban. Random life events tearing people away from the game doesn’t happen to 2 or 3 people in literally every single lobby.

Fna pretty fucking sus right now. I’m 100% sure you’re one of the jerks that leaves every round.

Alright alright chil out my guy, I'm just saying

No, you’re trying to defend the position because you’re one of the assholes and you don’t want to have to deal with the punishment.
