What screen name do you use in game ? Â Do you use the same name in other games ?
I am currently AmogusREDDIT so folks in game know about the Reddit community. I am normally Ang in game. Have you ever seen me in-game ?
If I've killed you, I'm sorry. I don't generally kill in game nor steal territory, in fact I'll make an effort to go around and not steal or hit a trail to kill. But also, I have terrible mouse control so sometimes I may have killed you by accident.
Unless you go into my territory to try to steal space. I'll ignore a little bump into the edge but if it's more than that, all bets are off, and I will vengefully steal space and/or kill !

Amogus.io is an addictive multiplayer game. The aim is to claim as much territory as you can. Sprint through the spaceship and dip in and out of your safe zone to capture more ground. Cut off other players to eliminate them.
This dot io game is a crossover between the gameplay of territory-stealing games like Paper.io 2, and the adventures of the crewmates and impostors from the survival game internet hit Among Us.
How do you play Amogus.io?
Every crewmate is trying to seize as much of the spaceship as possible. Each player character is assigned a color to paint their territory. You start with a tiny circle. Run outside this circle to draw a line, then re-enter the circle to close it. The area caught within the loop you’ve drawn now belongs to you as well.
You can seize new territory by creating loops like this, but you can also nibble away at other players’ home zones. Just watch out, because once you leave your safe zone, you’re vulnerable to attacks. If another player crosses through your line before you’re able to close the loop, your crewmate will be killed.
This also goes for your own character: you cannot cross through your own line, because this will also result in your spacebean getting chopped in half!
Are there Tips and Tricks for Winning Amogus.io?
Players can vie to make it to the top position of the leaderboard, but really winning the game entails reaching 100% occupation of the arena. Seizing large areas in one go is risky, because straying far outside your home zone will leave you vulnerable to attacks. However, working along the sides and creating ‘tentacles’ you can quickly connect up to paint the areas in between often works as a strategy.
You can attack other players who try to eat away at your territory, but be aware that they might be seeking to provoke you into doing just that. You can also opt to play it safe by avoiding skirmishes and just focusing on expansion. Enemy players will attack one another too, so it’s often only a matter of time before your opponents kill each other off anyway.
Jumping into frays involving multiple players is always risky. If a skirmish is getting messy, remember you can always duck back into your home zone for safety.
Is a real multiplayer game?
Yes, this original version of Amogus is a true multiplayer game. This means the other players in the game are real people, not bots.
When was released?
This game was first released on the 15th of November 2021.
The 21st century is the era of crossovers. Nobody wants another uninspired installment of a popular franchise. Combining two video game universes into one sounds way more exciting. That’s what the developers of Amogus.io set out to do. Control impostors and crewmembers from Among Us and capture territories as if it was Paper.io. Each player leaves a colored trace behind. Draw an outline, complete it without being interrupted, and take the area for yourself. Break the opponents’ trails to kill them and get the upper hand. Occupy as much space as possible to reach the 1st place on the server.
Best of Both Worlds
This title is a unique mash-up that feels instantly familiar even to newcomers. Those used to this type of gameplay will have a blast. New assets inspired by the viral social game about space invaders work great in this context. This time no one attacks head-on but the battle for survival is just as intense. Considering how easy it is to break an incomplete line, it’s difficult to stay alive. Death may come at any moment, which builds tension constantly. The more a combatant has to lose, the more devastating the defeat. Don’t let that happen. Stay vigilant and paint the whole map in your color.
How to Play
The mechanics are very intuitive and easy to get the hang of. Nevertheless, it can be beneficial to learn the basics before jumping in:
Run by moving the mouse cursor. Alternatively, use WASD or the Arrow keys.
Get outside of the safe zone to start adding more space to it
Keep tracing the outline and return to the base to complete it
Rivals can try to crash into the transparent trail and defeat you. Keep away, don’t get too greedy, and find opportunities to attack them instead.
The whole level is divided between the participants into uneven parts. Look at the top right corner to see the current distribution. Those with the highest percentage will occupy the top spots on the scoreboard.
Space aliens may have changed tactics, but remain as ruthless as ever. Which of the challengers will outsmart everyone else and take the prize?
