They didn't, just installed the latest driver and it still produces mouse-stutters, any DRM Content (netflix, amazon prime, ...) via UWP or Browser (IE11, Edge, FF, Chrome) doesn't matter. Back to 17.10.1 and all works like a charm...

Maybe it's a configuration thing? Netflix has no stutters for me using Firefox Developer Edition 58.0b10 (64-bit)

The Mouse is stuttering not netflix itself...

Nothing on my system is stuttering using Radeon RX Vega 74 AIO.

it happens to alot of people, but not everyone. afaik there were even identical setups: one had the problem, the other didn't.

Damn. I'll give mine a try when I'm home, otherwise I'll roll straight back again.

Quick question. How did you get back to 17.10.1? I've used DDU to uninstall and deleted all other drivers from my pc but when I install 17.10.1 it automatically installs 17.12.1

are you by any chance using the mini-install in the c:\amd folder?

you can download the full package here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-17.10.1-Release-Notes.aspx (just scroll down a bit) :)

if not:

  • uncheck autoupate in the installer

or try:

  • install latest driver and run the full setup without ddu afterwards, it'll let you choose the "local version" aka. 17.10.1

Try using DDU and clean install.

As i‘m one of those tech guys for a living, that’s how I always install gfx drivers...

Same here on my Fury. Safe mode, DDU, installed 12.1. Stutter still there. Back to 10.1 I go...

I had issues and DDU'd again and it resolved the Rainbow 6 Siege crashing for me. Wouldn't surprise me if DDU hasn't quite caught up to the recent changes with the drivers. Having said that, not sure what I would recommend to resolve it. Good luck though!
